Suno vs Finetunning
Hey, everyone. This is Kersad, and I just got Finetuning. But the problem is, uh, I thought I could replace my Suno subscription with, uh, Finetuning. And I gave it a try, but unfortunately, it, uh, it's not even close to Suno. And I tried exactly the same prompts on Finetuning and... Okay, uh, I just want you to hear the difference then tell me if I'm right or wrong. Okay, this is the Finetuning first song. I mean, like, instrumental cinematic music. Here we go. (instrumental music) Okay, I think this is enough. Let's go back to Suno, and exact, the same prompt over here. Let's get started. (instrumental music) Let's go back from scratch. Control. (instrumental music) Yeah, I think it's enough, right? Uh, it's not even close, same prompt, but yeah. Uh, I'm sorry I need to (laughs) return it. I can't keep it like that. Maybe some other time when they improve it. But at this time, I can't use it. Thank, thank you.

Apr 22, 2026Thanks for the review. Suno is a long established player and is subscription only. We're offering a lifetime deal price at an unbeatable $49 start point. What works on Suno may not work the same here in terms of prompting so again its how much you are willing to experiment and if Suno is working for you and you are happy to pay monthly then keep doing that. We are releasing updates every Friday and will continue to do that to help users get better outputs right away in a simpler manner.
The update upcoming addresses some of these prompting concerns with a simpler mode to go from concept to song in as little clicks as needed but of course advanced prompting is also there for those who want to use it.
