Q: The new credits based system!?

Hi there,

Based on your latest email announcing the imminent transition to your new credit system, are Tier 4 LTD's going to lose its unlimited apps feature and also enquire about costs to run an app?

A: Of course, whatever is included in your plan stays in your plan (number of projects, stacks, ability to download, etc). Additionally, when we release the new credits system, all AppSumo users will get a fixed number of monthly credits.

Q: Tier 1 permite realizar aplicaciones utilizando React,Node,SQLPostgre?

Muchas gracias

A: Yes, Tier 1 allows you to create full-stack applications using React for the front-end, Node.js for the back-end, and PostgreSQL as the database. These technologies are fully supported.

With Tier 1, you can generate a fully working application that includes both the back-end and front-end, and you can also configure it to function as an e-commerce Admin Panel or a back-end management tool. You’ll get features like user authentication, data management (CRUD), role-based access control, and more, essential for managing an e-commerce store or similar business operations.

A: Flatlogic Generator can help you convert your Excel calculator into a web app without needing any programming knowledge. You simply describe your app and its functionalities in plain English, and the generator will take care of the rest.

But to be clear classical use cases of Flatlogic Generator are when an organization uses it to create ERP, CRM, CMS, admin panel, internal tool, SAAS, business, or other data management system.

Q: Hello, If you decide to integrate different or newer language models (LLMs), we will have access to all those new models?

Also, is BYOK something already ensured that LTD users will have included?

I'm aiming for T4 but I don't see me investing $499 only to have something non-optimal in a few months, and obsolete in 1 year, because you won't update LTD users with new models/features, neither have BYOK available.

Please confirm before I proceed with the T4 purchase.

Thank you.

A: With tiers 1-3, you can download a template with the SAME tech stack as YOUR active application.
With Tier 4 you don't need to add anything to your subscriptions, because having a product with Tier 4 is equivalent to a professional subscription and you already have access to everything, that means you have access not only to templates for the SAME stack as your active app, you have access for ALL Templates from our marketplace

A: Creating an Uber-like app that connects vendors with clients is indeed a unique and interesting use case. While we don't have a specific template labeled as an "Uber-like app," our Flatlogic Generator is versatile and can certainly help you build a similar application. You can describe your app requirements in natural language, and the generator will create a foundational app based on your description.

A: You can definitely create cross-platform B2C SaaS apps using Flatlogic. Our platform allows you to generate web applications that can be customized to meet your specific needs, including cross-platform support.

The Flatlogic Generator is not open-source. However, once you generate an app, you own the source code, which means you can modify and customize it as much as you need.

A: our main focus is on generating web applications like ERPs, CRMs, and other business management tools. However, we can certainly help create business presentation websites as well. Although we don't have specific case studies for presentation websites on our case studies page, the Flatlogic Generator can be used to create such sites using customizable templates and components.

A: Once the initial app is generated, you can refine it within Flatlogic before publishing. However, after the app is published, making further changes or refinements is possible via the schema editor or by modifying the source code on GitHub and redeploying the app. Additionally, with an active subscription, you can generate charts and widgets from plain descriptions.

Q: Can I use Flatlogic to create financial dashboards and metrics to monitor and assess the financial health of ...

a business for different clients to assess their own businesses by using it? Would they log into a dashboard and only see their own information? Also, can you please distinguish an "App" - is that a single use item? Would key metric calculations within a single dashboard be possible i.e. (Revenue total and growth rate, expenses and their breakdown, profitability, cash flow, ROI, etc) and is it able to incorporate charts & graphs?

Also, is "100 deployments per account per month" - does that mean 100 attempts or usage of whatever we create can be accessed per month by users? Please explain as its unclear.

Also, can you explain the number of Apps within the tiers. For the example I gave above, is that and more do-able within one financial analysis app, or would they have to be in different apps?

A: Financial Dashboards and Metrics:

Yes, you can use Flatlogic to create financial dashboards and metrics to monitor and assess the financial health of a business. The generated app can indeed allow different clients to log in and see only their information. This is typically managed through user roles and permissions, which control data access.

Definition of an "App":

An "App" in the context of Flatlogic is a complete software solution that includes various functionalities. It's not just a single-use item; it can be as complex as you need it to be. For your financial dashboard, you can have multiple key metric calculations within a single app, such as revenue total and growth rate, expenses and their breakdown, profitability, cash flow, ROI, and more. Flatlogic also supports incorporating charts and graphs to visualize these metrics.

Deployments per Month:

The "100 deployments per account per month" means you can deploy the application 100 times in a month. This could include updates, changes, or redeployments. It is not related to the number of times users access the app; instead, it's about how often you push changes or redeploy your application.

Number of Apps within Tiers:

The number of apps you can create varies by subscription tier. For example, you could create one comprehensive financial analysis app that includes all the features you mentioned, or you could create multiple apps for different purposes. However, most use cases like the one you described can be effectively managed within a single app.

Q: Hi!

what happens if a subdomain of yours is already occupied?
For example, I want appA and appA.flatlogic.app is occupied - it can be set that appA.mydomain.com points to appA23.flatlogic.app ?

A: Yes, if a subdomain you desire (like appA.flatlogic.app) is already taken, you can certainly set up a custom domain (e.g., appA.mydomain.com) to point to your generated app (e.g., appA23.flatlogic.app). This requires configuring your DNS settings to create a CNAME or an A record pointing to the Flatlogic subdomain.

Q: REPOSTING AS ANSWER IS NOT CLEAR I was about to ask the following, but noticed several sumos did ask ...

already:

Are we able to use our own domain for each app? (mydomainA.com, mydomainB.com, etc)?

To which the standard answer has been:

“Since you own your domain, you will need to adjust your DNS records to point to the Flatlogic app. Please send us a support request with your domain name so we can enable your domain”

Unfortunately I do NOT understand the answer.

Which is the correct answer from below?

1. Yes, each app could be assigned a CNAME, as in mydomainA.com for App A, mydomainB.com for App B, etc.

2. NO, we only support a single CNAME per account, thus, each app will be a subdomain of this, as in appA.singleDomain.com for App A, appB.singleDomain.com for App B, etc.

A: Yes, each app can be assigned a CNAME, allowing you to use different domains like mydomainA.com for App A, mydomainB.com for App B, etc. You will need to adjust your DNS records for each domain to point toward your respective Flatlogic app. Our team is here to assist in enabling your domain once you send us a support request with your domain names.
Furthermore, if you don’t have your own domain, you can always use our subdomain in the format <name>.flatlogic.app.
This setup ensures you have the flexibility to utilize your own branding and domain names across multiple projects or apps created with Flatlogic, while also providing an easy option for those who may not have a domain ready to use.

Q: Hi Phillip, Alesia & team, As I have bought a couple of low/no code-to-app software, but not been able to ...

achieve my goal of creating a specific web app (later perhaps also an ios edition)

I am a bit unsure if Flatlogic could be the tool I need.
- What I want to do is feed the AI information about what and how the web app should work.
- I have found another company in a totally other line of business & other branch, that have a web app, that in structure, process & function is very similar (app 80-90%) to how I want my web app to work.

Q: is there any way I can feed that wep app into the Flatlogic app, via words & screenshots, you know : Pic1 shows the UI when opening the app, Pic2 shows the overview dashboard & oversights & goals, goals completed etc. and the menu, Pic 3. shows UI of add a new goal sub-page and so-fort etc.

As my target audience and branch is a totally other than the one I see having already made an - of my vision - 90% functional app. could I achive creating an similar app using Flatlogic? - Where the other app have "cows", as units I have "time units of 1 hours", but its the processes and structure in the app nan mu app idea are both assets / resources management & tracking, where they use purely diagrams & charts in the overview, my app will have other output like percentages, number of dots, where some can be read, some yellow and green showing status etc.
- Likewise my UI is a total other design, so all in all even if a user of the other web app should see my app when finished, would not think that they had anything in common, other than some operation logic seems to function similar.

So -
Q:A. Could I feed either screenshots, screenshots with description, or text describing functions, structure & processes - and get an web app ss output?

Q: B. If Yes to Q:A, can I can I change / redesign the ui assets & elements, after the web app is created, - or would ot be better if I did the design in photoshop or perhaps figma etc. so what I feed in is - 1:1 with how the web app shows up when outputted/ created?
Q:C.I could also do clean diagrams & frameworks in lines with numbers in the different fields and then description of the fields function & connection to next field per text. ect..

Kind regards
Henrik

A: Hi Henrik, glad to see you here!
To answer your questions:
Q: A. You can describe the functions, structure, and processes of the web app using text, and the Flatlogic Generator can use this information to create a web app. Screenshots with descriptions or purely text-based descriptions of the UI and functionalities are acceptable.
Q: B. Yes, once the web app is created, you can change or redesign the UI assets and elements. Flatlogic provides the source code, allowing you to customize the design as needed. Using tools like Figma or Photoshop to design the UI beforehand can also be helpful, but it's not mandatory.
Q: C. Clean diagrams and frameworks with numbered fields and descriptions of each field's function and connection are also a valid way to describe your app's requirements.
