I do a lot of video editing for work and for social media. I have multiple computers. FlexClip is an online editor that allows me to store media in the cloud and be available whenever I edit. I have found the editor very easy to use. The subscription comes with a comprehensive list of AI features that work on a credit basis. It is quite handy to access these features with an integrated editor. I have not had a chance to evaluate the value of the credits. The credits do not renew monthly, but you are able to purchase additional credits in the future.

I currently hold Tier One. I have used the product on multiple occasions. Upgrading to tier two will give me 20GB more storage and double my AI credits. Anyone who edits should at least consider the Tier One. I am tempted to upgrade to Tier two while I can.

I really like the clean interface and user experience. It has powerful features like video templates for content creation. I love the workflow for screen recording - right from the video editor, to the screen recorder, and back to the video editor!

It would be nice if there were more shortcuts (biggest one is "s" for splitting clips) and multiple tracks for videos, text, and audio.

I invested in FlexClip in 2022. It was great but a bit slow back then. I just edited a trailer on FlexClip, giving it my first real run in four years, and it's so much faster and better. It was an absolute pleasure to make this trailer, levering all the wonderful transitions, light leaks, bokeh and other effects.

Some lower-thirds are tough to center properly because they have prearranged formatting, but this is my only complaint, at the moment.

I'd love to see an audio normalizer option to help even out up-and-down voiceovers.

What an outstanding value! A superb editor, lots of stock video and audio (including sound effects and music) and plenty of graphics and other bells and whistles.

I opted for the top-tier plan, and even now, I feel like I’ve barely scratched the surface of what’s possible. The AI credits remain untouched, not because I don’t trust their potential, but because the templates alone have been so rich and rewarding that I haven’t felt the need to explore further—yet. It’s rare to find a tool that feels this complete, this capable of meeting you wherever you are in your creative journey.

However, after reading the deal terms more carefully, I found out that the credits are not renewed yearly and are only granted as a one-time amount. Unfortunately, that changed the value of the offer for me, and I decided to cancel the deal immediately.

To be clear, I think the tool itself is powerful and genuinely impressive. The quality looks very good, and the product has a lot of potential. The issue is not the tool, but the current AppSumo deal structure. A much better model would be:

one pool of credits with no expiration, and/or an additional portion of credits that renews annually

That kind of setup would make the deal far more attractive and sustainable for creators who need ongoing usage.

With the current system, I honestly think there are many other tools on the market that offer similar quality with a more practical pricing structure.

Another important point: on the official website, there is an offer of around 10,000 credits for one year, while on AppSumo the deal gives roughly 7,600 credits at nearly the same price. So the obvious question is: where is the deal here?

And to be fair, most AppSumo users are informed buyers. They compare pricing, limits, and long-term value very carefully, so this kind of difference stands out immediately.
