People who purchased previous deal have been ripped off

Looks like people who purchased previous deal have been ripped off. Now the free tier and previous tier -1 both get 720 P HD. The appsumo ecosystem is becoming extremely unhealthy . From purchasing 50 + apps a year, i have downgraded to hardly 3 on an average. If this continues, the ecosystem appsumo created will loose trust.

The old Tier 1 plan is not the same as the current free tier. While both support 720p HD downloads, the legacy Tier 1 includes the following core benefits that the free plan does not have:

- 720p HD downloads
- 1 stock video/audio per project
- FlexClip premium resources
- Save unlimited projects online
- Video length up to 25 minutes
- Brand Kit
- 10 GB cloud storage
- 50 GB video hosting space
- Upload custom fonts
- Save up to 10 templates
- No FlexClip watermark
- 1,200 AI credits per year

The free plan has no AI credits, no paid stock assets, includes a FlexClip watermark, and offers much less storage. So existing users haven't been "ripped off" – you still fully enjoy the benefits you originally purchased, and those benefits renew every year, just as promised.

We also offer upgrade options for legacy users:

- Upgrade to the new deal structure – You can purchase FlexClip codes directly on the AppSumo deal page and stack them to upgrade. Since you're on legacy Tier 1, buying 1 code will upgrade you to the new Tier 2, and buying 2 codes will upgrade you to the new Tier 3.

- Upgrade within the legacy deal structure – If you prefer to stay within the same legacy plan family and upgrade to a higher legacy tier, please contact [email protected] for assistance. The legacy deals have been fully discontinued, so this option requires manual help from our team.
