Q: API?

FlexiFunnels looks like a strong fit for what we are building, but one major blocker prevents us from taking it on.

None of the supported payment gateways operate in South Africa or most of Africa, excluding an entire high-growth market from using and monetising your platform.
Africa’s digital payments market is projected to reach $1.5 trillion by 2030, showing massive and accelerating demand for local payment solutions like Paystack.

Quick questions:
1. Are there plans to add Paystack as a native gateway?
2. If not, will you support a custom API option so users can integrate other processors?
3. If feasible, what’s the estimated timeline?

This will directly affect our time-sensitive platform decision. Thanks for responding whenever you're available.

A: Hey SerialOptimist — love the name btw 😄

Good news: we're actively taking payment gateway integration requests right now. This is something we see as a huge opportunity to expand into different markets, and we're very open to it.

Our approach is simple — for every region, we want to have at least the biggest local player integrated. So Paystack for Africa makes complete sense.

On the custom API option to integrate other processors yourself — that's not something we support currently. Payment gateway integrations are handled natively on our end to ensure checkout reliability, security, and proper order tracking.

Here's what you can do: Post this as a feature request on our roadmap — https://feedback.flexifunnels.com/roadmap. The number of votes will help us prioritize, but payment gateways for underserved regions are definitely on our radar.

In the meantime, until the native integration is live, here's how you can still get started:

1) Embed Paystack's checkout code directly onto your FlexiFunnels page if they provide an embeddable form.
2) Use a button on your sales page that redirects to a Paystack-hosted checkout page.

You can start building your funnels, pages, and courses today — and once we add native Paystack support, you'll be fully set.

Hey Maddy,
I really appreciate your hopeful, prompt response. Thank you. I wasn't expecting one on a Sunday, so I do hope you take a day of rest somewhere in the week. ;)
Follow-up question: I noticed that South African Rand isn't listed as a currency on FlexiFunnels at this stage. Is this something that can be added?

Haha, appreciate the concern! Sundays are for building 😄

On South African Rand, you're right, it's not listed currently. But this is a quick add for us. I've noted it internally, and we'll get it added soon.

Will update you once it's live 🙌

Additionally, how can I automate flows after a purchase without using the API or any ways to integrate with Paystack? I'm not seeing how it's possible to auto-assign access to products after a purchase is made on Paystack using the methods you've suggested. Could you please help me understand how I can fully automate the payments and access using Paystack at the moment?

Hey Maddy,
Been building on FF, and the lack of Paystack integration is holding us back severely. :( Any idea if there'll be ANY payment gateways accessible to South Africa on FF soon? Even Revolut, Wise, etc? And when will ZAR be added as a currency for products?
