Q: Moderation for Course Discussions
What type of moderation features exist for Course Discussions?
Are members able to message each other?

Dec 20, 2025A: Great question — here’s a clear breakdown of how it works today and what’s coming next.
* FlexiFunnels supports discussion threads at the lesson level in courses.
* Students can post questions and comments under lessons.
* Instructors/admins can reply and guide discussions if needed.
* There is no advanced moderation system yet (no keyword filtering, approval queues, roles, etc.).
* Members cannot DM or message each other privately at the moment.
So right now, discussions are course-centric and instructor-led, not a full community system.
What’s coming next:
* A dedicated community feature (Skool-style) is planned.
* This will include structured communities, better moderation controls, and richer interactions.
* Target timeline: Q2 2026.
* When released, this will be part of the FlexiFunnels ecosystem (not a separate platform).
If community engagement is a core requirement for you today, FlexiFunnels covers basic discussion needs. If you’re looking for a full Skool-style experience, that’s already on the roadmap and actively planned.

Will this skool style experience be included in the AppSumo plans when it's released?
Yes Beccy. It will be included. Anything which is an upgrade to the existing features, will be included.
Will the AppSumo deal still be on when you launch this Skool style experience? And how likely is it really to be Q2 of this year?
Karthik is the CTO + Co-founder. He seems confident of Q2. Plus, the fact that it is one of the fairly asked features, so it's definitely on the cards
And can you also explain what is meant by ‘discussion forum’ as listed under ‘advanced features’ here: https://sb.flexifunnels.com/course-member I’m launching a course / membership in February and have only just come across your platform. It looks fantastic, I just need to know that there will be enough member support for course participants until you launch the Skook style communities. Thank you.
Think of it like what we are currently doing on AppSumo here. Your course member can comment below any lesson, and you or any other member can also comment/reply
