Q: I was about to purchase all 10 codes to get the Advanced plan only to find out through your support team that ...
there is no option to hide the next button on each lesson when using iframes. I was planning on adding an iframe activity in an Acadle lesson and show a link to the next lesson page once the iframe activity was completed. However, it appears you cannot remove the Next button in Acadle's lessons which is a huge deal breaker since this would allow learners to easily skip iframe content with no way to require that they actually interact with it before moving on. Ideally, we should have the option to mark a lesson complete upon visiting the next lesson in a sequential learning path.
As a workaround, since it appears you are supporting SCORM, does Acadle track the completion of the SCORM package so it will only allow the user to move on to the next lesson if they have completed it?
If this type of SCORM tracking isn't possible, this is disappointing. I would encourage your team to make this possible for a future iteration of the platform for those of us who intend to use SCORM in our courses, especially when embedding elearning modules using authoring tools such as Articulate 360, iSpring, or Adobe Captivate. Otherwise, the current approach is very limiting for serious course developers and prevents us from ensuring proper SCORM completion.
Great! If you can include SCORM tracking (users have to complete/pass a SCORM lesson before they are allowed to progress to the next lesson ), this would be a game changer. Otherwise, users can simply click Next freely on a SCORM package without really doing any of the required activities/assessments in it. I will wait for this before purchasing as I intend to get 10 codes. Thanks!
I second this! While SCORM compatibility is nice, SCORM tracking is a must so the platform can ensure the learner has completed the SCORM content before they are allowed to progress to the next module or course.
SCORM is live (beta)
