Q: Why does the site keep going down?
I've been using this for about a week and today I'm experiencing the second SSL failure. The previous one lasted all weekend. It's a real concern as I've spent hours building a library of about 75 flipbooks and given my students access, only to discover that the site is unavailable. It's really disappointing. Please explain whether this is normal for this software. If so, I'll have to try something else. Thanks.

Mar 23, 2026A: Hello,
Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns with us. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced due to the site being unavailable, particularly when you’re relying on it for educational purposes.
To address your concerns:
1. Site Downtime: We are aware of the recent SSL failures, which occurred unexpectedly. This usually happens on the login or signup pages and not while accessing flip links.
2. Ongoing Improvements: We have already taken steps over the weekend to coordinate a solution. We're planning to place the application on a different subdomain which will enhance its stability. Additionally, we are making security improvements that you will notice in the upcoming week.
3. Future Reliability: Please be assured that such downtime is not typical for us, and we are committed to resolving this to prevent future occurrences. Recent platform changes and updates are aimed at ensuring a more robust experience.
For personalized assistance or to discuss this matter further, I invite you to book a call with us or email at [email protected]. We’re here to assist you and ensure your needs are fully met.
Once again, thank you for your patience and for continuing to use Flip Link. If you have any further questions or require assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Best regards,

Thanks Sumit. I sincerely hope you can resolve this issue as apart from the reliability (which is super important for me) I think the software is terrific.
