One of my best purchases on here...
Hi,
I purchased fliplink.me largely based on the comments. Many of the reviews indicated that there was nothing more it could do to meet their needs (from the reviewers perspective). So, I was hopeful it was the perfect solution for me to sell my digital products.
I've been using the product for about 6 months now and it is a fantastic product. For what it does, it does it well and is worth 5-stars.
Such as,
-The ease-of-use,
-the ability to charge for a flipbook,
-to have multiple CNAMEs in the link,
-to brand your products in other ways
-AND to be able to replace a pdf file without having to redo the entire listing
It is worth 5 stars for those things alone.
Another reason for 5 stars is because it has been a good fix for other purchases that didn't work out. Once I was in it and using it, I understood my needs better and realized other features that I need but that currently don't exist. Having them would truly make Fliplink.me a perfect all-in-one solution for me.
So, I contacted Sumit to ask about those features. He gave me a thoughtful response in a timely manner, which is also why I think the product deserves 5 stars--great customer service.
Here is what I asked and his answers, in case you want to know about these features as well.
Q1) Is there a main page that customers see, so that they can access all of the products we have available at once?
A) "Fliplink doesn’t currently offer a built-in storefront to show all your flipbooks in one place.
However, you can embed flipbooks on your own website or landing page — either as a direct flipbook view or a clickable image that opens the flipbook in a new tab. This allows you to create your own custom catalog or collection page."
Q2) If there is not a main page that lists all of our products, is the only way that they will know that a product exists, is if they have the direct link to the flipbook?
A) "Yes, in the current setup, each flipbook has its own unique link. So unless shared directly, customers won’t know another product exists."
Q3) If number 2 is the case, does that mean that I will have to use another platform to list all the books separately with their individual links and that customers will have to follow each link to purchase a product? For example, to see that I have 50 books available and if they want to purchase 50 books, they will have to go through 50 different links to do that?
A) "Correct — for now, to list multiple books together, you would use an external platform (like your website, Notion, Linktree, or a simple landing page builder) to display all the individual flipbook links in one place(i.e with direct embed or as clickable image)."
Q4) Are there any future plans to be able to do questions 1-3 if those are not already features?
A) "At the moment, features like a built-in storefront or centralized product listing aren’t part of our immediate roadmap. That said, if it proves to be a valuable and widely requested addition, I'd be happy to explore it further. While i can’t promise a timeline, your feedback is incredibly helpful in guiding future updates."
Q5) Will there be an option to offer "bundles" of books--the ability to purchase several books at one time?
A) "While I can’t commit to an exact timeline, I’ll definitely explore the idea of allowing users to purchase or unlock multiple flipbooks at once. It’s a valuable suggestion, and we’ll surely consider it for future updates."
I hope they'll add a main page so that everything is on one site. That would be great! In the interim, I have implemented his suggestions and they are working.
