Q: Is it possible to convert a YouTube video into a Short?
Suppose I am recording my screen on my FHD monitor, but after this, I want to convert it into a YouTube Short. Can it follow the mouse cursor so that when I convert it into a YouTube Short, the important points will still be visible in the vertical format?

now when I change to a vertical video that 16:9 video is contained horizontally in 9:16 aspect ratio. But if there was a feature like mouse cursor tracking then we could just have a full horizontal video that covers more area of the actual canvas
Understood, I see your point. Would appreciate it if you could also add this request to our roadmap, my team will evaluate each request there. https://focusee.canny.io/

If you add this feature (like Bandicam) and do better than theirs (give users the ability to define exactly which portion of the screen they want to record), it would be a game changer! With theirs you can only set the dimension and it shows the entire top and bottom portion of the browser (which I do not want) and there is no way to change it. You can test it out in the free version for research!
