This is not a deal from focusmate. Anyone one can create a team or community private group within focusmate.com. And that's what Appsumo Plus is offering. Appsumo pays $50 per month to offer the group access. Or they did a deal with focusmate and pay nothing because of the potential that many members will upgrade to have more than three sessions per week.

that was my thought - anyone can do 3 free focusmate sessions a week. But I guess what they are offering, is access to a like-minded group of people to do sessions with - so that you have other entrepreneurs and the like rather than totally random strangers who might be like doing dishes or house cleaning - but folks here are like doing similar online type of work?

Why not just use zoom or meet completely free of charge?
