Followit is a great and easy way to build list followers for my sites without having to manage an email list separately through Mailchimp. Many of the existing RSS feed services for users are not very user friendly, nor come with good email systems. Followit fixes this for the average user making it free for them and sending nice newsletter emails through their system. It is a win win for our users and our company. Also you can limit exposure to other feeds by doing white label in the emails and removing any links. I will still send my monthly newsletter through Mailchimp but it is nice to give users another option.
