Q: why am i being told that my limits have been met in ai when I have not even used it yet?
I have 10 tier to white label and I'm getting this error message when I haven't even used the platform yet. I've even out in my own API key and that's not registering. In addition, It's supposed to have straico included at this level and it's asking me to upgrade. How am I supposed to sell this to my clients when it won't function properly for me? This is the error message any time I try to generate anything from the AI: HTTP request returned status code 429: { "error": { "message": "You exceeded your current quota, please check your plan and billing details. For mo (truncated...)

Jul 1, 2025A: ven when using your own API key (BYOK), Followr’s account-level limits still apply. This ensures proper processing and platform stability across all users.
Also, if you're using the White Label management dashboard, please double-check the limits you've set for your own company or sub-users — sometimes low thresholds are set by default there.
I have set no limits and have not used any credits. I should have full credits available for both image and text
I think I really need a call or shared screen chat before I ask for a refund. This is definitely a glitch or issue with the product. I'm trying to keep an open mind but really need some acknowledgment that there is a problem here and an attempt to fix it.
Rodrigo replied again to me in the help chat on platform. This had nothing to do with account levels. I tried all day yesterday with No levels set anywhere . I tried it with my API key set and toggled on, and I tried it with my API toggled off, no matter what I did, it did not work and still threw that same error message at me. Today it miraculously works both with and without the API key to
marcos.d@followr.ai is my email. go ahead and let's schedule a meeting or send me over the screenshots or screen recording. if there's a glitch i'll fix it
Instead of assuming the issue is user ignorance, perhaps next time you might say "let me take a look and see what the issue is - it's possible it's a glitch on our end or the server that needs to be fixed." That attitude can go a long way between someone searching for another option or saying "hey, great customer service - let's give it a chance"
Thank you Marcos. If I had a screen shot at this point I would send it, but since it is now working I'm not able to recreate that error message other than what I copied and pasted in here for you earlier at the start of all of this. The issue is no longer reproduceable, which while frustrating, is a good thing. Whatever was causing the error is now gone and I'm able to generate AI text again.
feel free to send me an email with any relevant details (e.g. your registered email address, workspace name, and what you were trying to do when the error appeared).
We can also jump on a quick call if that helps — just let me know what works best for you.
I’m really glad to hear it’s working again, even if the cause is still a bit unclear.
To make sure everything is stable and to avoid future issues, I’d be happy to take a closer look at your account on our end and ensure it doesn't happen again.
