Hey, Sumo-lings! 

I'm Adrian, co-founder, and CEO at Forento.io - the easiest way for anyone to build their own branded platform. Whether it be for online courses, coaching programs, or book clubs.

We've been on AppSumo for a little more than 6 months now, and we're not planning to leave any time soon. We're happy to announce the updated version of our first listing, with more features and better tier options.

Why Forento?

We began building Forento in 2021, a*er having been course creators ourselves for more than two years. Our time as course creators were spent in Sweden, where we created and sold courses in business and entrepreneurship to Swedish schools. While doing that, we faced a lot of the obstacles we today help others overcome.

We launched the first open beta version of Forento in May 2022, and since we've been able to help coaches, freelancers, and creators from more than 80 countries build their own platforms.

We're still in beta, adding new features every week. Ranging from small upgrades to full-scale new features. Saying we listen to customer feedback would be an understatement, we crave it. We believe in a customer-led product development process, where feature requests and feedback play a big part.

The different tiers/plans

There are a total of six different plans for Forento on AppSumo. These range from Basic 1 to Startup 3. Each code represents one-tier. All Basic tiers include the same features, same goes for all Startup tiers. The main difference between the two is the website builder tool and community forum feature, which Startup customers do have access to, but not Basic customers.

The difference between the numbered tiers (1-3) is the sales commission rate. The sales commission rate is a transactional fee we charge per sale on your platform.

• Basic 1 (1 code) (10% sales commission rate)
• Basic 2 (3 codes) (5%)
• Basic 3 (5 codes) (2%)
• Startup 1 (2 codes) (10%)
• Startup 2 (4 codes) (5%)
• Startup 3 (6 codes) (2%)

All Startup tiers include these features:
• Drag-n-drop website builder with 15+ templates
• Platform community forum
• Sell videos in addition to memberships & courses
