1) Plan 1 with Limited customization, logo, thumbnails, images & colors. The Plan 2/4/6 no such function of Limited customization, logo, thumbnails, images & colors?
2) How to get full custom domain www.domain.com which not sub.domain.com? Any advice on current plans offer here?
3) For extra admin user, can setting right on certain sections like only allow create course only?
1. The " Limited customization, logo, thumbnails, images & colors" refers to the customization options available for the academy. The academy is where your products would go (courses, digital downloads, etc) and where users would sign up, purchase, and access them. You get to build your academy on all of our plans (including the free plan). Start plans (tier 2, 4 & 6) also have access to the website builder, where you can set up custom landing pages for specific offers. This feature allows you to create a storefront for your offers with more customization than what's available directly on your academy.
2. When you connect a custom domain to Forento, the root domain (example.com) gets attached to your website. Then, a subdomain (app.example.com) is connected to your academy. You can choose to change the "app" part to any other prefix, like "academy", "courses", or "learn". You can learn more about connecting a custom domain here: https://help.forento.io/en/articles/9201186-connecting-a-custom-domain
3. As of now, there's no permission management for team members. Anyone you invite as a team member will be an admin by default and will have the same access as you (except the fact that you, as a super admin, can remove and manage team members).

Q: Automatic Invoices / office.lexware.de Integration / GDPR / Google Fonts etc.
Hi there,
I have a few questions before buying codes - hope you don't mind.
1st. How does Forento comply to GDPR? Where are your servers, where is your company based?
2nd. What about Google Fonts? I looked up the course page of one of your clients - a drummer from the Netherlands - his forento website doesn't comply to GDPR at all (which can become massively expensive) - at least in Germany if lawyers find out about such shady websites. Can I switch off Google Fonts and upload my own?
3rd. Is there an integration for office.lexware.de planned? This would make accounting very easy.
4th. What about the legal texts - are they available in German? Do I have to enter my own texts? Is there the option to fill in my own legal texts?
5th. If a customer buys a membership - some fields which have to be checked are mandatory. Is that possible
A: Hey Webkiter, thank you for the questions. I'm happy to help.
1. You can learn about Forento's GDPR compliance and how data is managed in the privacy policy on our website. Forento is a Swedish company. Our servers are based in the Netherlands.
2. There's a Google Fonts integration for the website builder within Forento, to easily install fonts. If you prefer, you can upload your own fonts (the supported formats are ttf, otf, woff) to use those instead of relying on Google Fonts.
3. We don't have any integration with the accounting software you're referring There may be an external integration between any of our two payment providers (Stripe & PayPal) and your account software, though.
4. Forento places terms of service and privacy policy agreements on your academy, which outlines the relationship between you as the creator, Forento as the technical provider, and your customers as users of the service. These documents are provided in English. Our team is happy to help in case you'd like to add creator-specific terms to this agreement, even in German.
5. There's no way to customize the purchase process for Memberships specifically (over any other product), but I'd be happy to hear your thoughts and consider it for future updates.
Feel free to reach out through the live chat on our site if you have additional questions or would like assistance getting set up.
Forento does not accept SCORM format courses at this time. You'll be able to easily upload your content manually, as text, images, videos, or other formats available. You can learn more about the course content within Forento here: https://help.forento.io/en/articles/6209550-courses
As for your second question, I'm not entirely sure what you're referring to when you ask to compare Forento to "LMS". Forento is a learning management system where you can build your own training academy. It can be used to sell information-based products (courses, downloadables, sessions & events) but also to share free resources.
Feel free to reach out through the live chat on our website if you have any additional questions.
Does your Forento account allow you to create different courses and/or downloads for different topics, can they have their own branded landing page/site? Or do we only get one branded site?
There's no agency plans for Forento at this time, which means you can only build one academy/website per account you create. If you'd like to sell courses (or other products) under multiple separate brands, you'll have to create one Forento account for each.
On the Forento de Appsumo product page, it says Zapier integration (without mentioning that it's an optional extra). First disappointment
Then the training prices are obviously only in USD. No possibility of integrating VAT
It's not possible to create an invoice, and as Zappier integration is an option, it's not possible to automate invoice creation when paying a customer.
A: Hey sasusrefconsulting, thank you for the question.
Thank you for the feedback regarding the Zapier integration. I understand your point.
When it comes to payments, I can happily share that Forento is completely usable in Europe. USD is set as the default currency of your academy as you sign up. Once you've connected a payment gateway, you can easily switch USD to any other currency on the "Customize Academy" settings page. (https://help.forento.io/en/articles/9201581-changing-the-currency-of-your-platform)
Also, you can set up Stripe Tax when using Stripe as your payment gateway. This will allow you to easily monitor, collect, and pay taxes worldwide.
Feel free to reach out through the live chat on our website if you'd like assistance changing your academy currency or getting set up using Stripe Tax.

Q: Zapier Integration, Currency VAT and invoices
Hello,
I took the maximum offer
6 Codes
On the Forento de Appsumo product page, it says Zapier integration (without mentioning that it's an optional extra). First disappointment
Then the training prices are obviously only in USD. No possibility of integrating VAT
It's not possible to create an invoice, and as Zappier integration is an option, it's not possible to automate invoice creation when paying a customer.
It is therefore unusable in Europe.
Do you have any plans to remedy this?
Thanks
