On your website, you only charge commission on the Free plan. All the other plans are 0% commission. Help me to understand the benefits of buying your product on App Sumo, and pay a sales commission, as oppose to buying from your website, pay a small monthly subscription fee and No Commission.

Most creators when presented with both options go for the lifetime deal. However, I think both options have their pros and cons, and one should pick based on what fits their business the best.
The lifetime deal is great for those who are planning to build their first platform or have just gotten started. If you're already making enough money to where the 2-10% sales commission rate would be more than $19-$49/month - I'd suggest going for the subscription.

The biggest reason people go for the lifetime deal is because they're able to get access to a powerful tool with a minimal upfront investment. Instead of having to pay $49 each month for the Start subscription, while still creating course material, designing landing pages, and getting things set up - one can get started for as little as $78, get the same features, and take the time they need to get everything set up.

As of now, the only way of removing the sales commission is by switching to a subscription, which is either $19 or $49/month. But we don't want lifetime deal holders to have to switch to a subscription whenever they reach "too much" revenue. Instead, we plan on creating some sort of "remove sales commissions" upgrade, which will be less than whatever the subscription fee would be. No lifetime deal holders have gotten to that point yet - but we're ready to get something set up whenever.
