Q: How do I create a screener that ends the survey on certain answers?

Hi,
I need to create a screener question with conditional logic.

Example:
Q1: Do you live in XX or the surrounding area?
Yes → continue survey
No → end survey

The Conditional visibility does not seem to work correctly?

I also want each survey form to include an introduction page and a thank you page.

Can you explain how to set this up properly, or confirm if it is not supported yet?

A: Hello, thanks for reaching out!

FormRobin's conditional logic today is show/hide only: it can hide or reveal a field based on a previous answer (for example, "if Q1 is No, hide Q2"), but it does not include an action to end the survey early or branch to a separate completion screen. So a screener-style flow that terminates on a specific answer isn't built in yet — that's a great fit for our roadmap, please add it at https://formrobin.com/feedback so we can track demand.

For an introduction page, the cleanest current approach is to add a "Statement" question (text-only, no input field) as your first item, then turn on Multi-page mode in form Settings. That gives you a dedicated intro/welcome screen before the first real question.

For a custom thank-you page, the closest option today is the Custom Redirect setting (Individual plan) — it sends respondents to your own URL after they submit, so you can host a thank-you page on your own site. The in-app post-submission screen itself uses fixed text. If conditional visibility is behaving unexpectedly in a way you can reproduce beyond the screener case above, email [email protected] with your form URL and a couple of test answers and we'll look into it.
