Q: I just saw a blog on marketmuse about a comparison between them and you.

Ofcourse it is biased, but they are pretty negative about Frase. I would like to know whether it is true that your tool only crawls the top 20 articles on google? That would be a flaw in my opinion.. (source: https://blog.marketmuse.com/marketmuse-pro-vs-frase/)

Hey, I have to say I believe this is not a fair comparison considering the price of this LTD is the same as one month of their service which is also for only 1 domain and I believe with Frase you can have more.
Another thing is if you take a look at g2.com you can see that Frase was founded in 2017 while MarketMuse was founded in 2013. So even though they are more advanced and have more features they have been around for longer while Matt's team worked most of the time only to develop the technology that wasn't even available then.

In my opinion, this deal is great because you get a pretty new software when it's still in its early stages with a lot of room for growth, improvement and added features.

Speaking as someone who works in SEO, the flaw you bring up here was something that was pretty obvious when it first came up on AppSumo a while back. I ended up getting it because there is a sort of workaround, and given the lifetime deal, it'll pay off eventually.

The workaround is you don't just search your primary term, but you make Frase documents for several send level terms that drill down into different areas, and then you go and flesh out that research by hand. Frase isn't a replacement for manual research, but rather it shaves off a good amount of time off the top each time you use it. I wouldn't pay sticker price for it, but the lifetime deal makes it worth it.

As for MarketMuse... I'd hope it's lightyears better, given how expensive it is. Too expensive for most.
