Q: What does a TEST credit here mean?

It says unlimited users and unlimited tests, so what does a 10 or 20 or 30 test credit RESTRICT for me in each plan?

A: Dear Sumoling,

Thank you for your question!

With Gappeo, you can invite an unlimited number of users and create as many tests as you like. However, the number of test credits available depends on the plan you’ve selected.

Test credits determine how many candidates can complete a test. For example, if you invite 30 candidates to a test but your plan includes 10 test credits, only the first 10 candidates who complete the test will be counted. To allow additional candidates to complete the test, you would need to purchase extra test credits.

Please note, we don’t impose any restrictions on the number of test credits. If you require a higher number, feel free to contact us at info@gappeo.com, and we’ll be happy to assist!

Hope it answer's your question.

Best regards,
Adi

The entire point of screenings like these are to filter out candidates from large number of applicants like 500+ or 1000+. How does it help to have only 10,20, 30 people being allowed to give the test each month. This doesn't make sense for a deal on AppSumo. Is there any option to buy decent amount like 10k+ at a bulk price that could be included in the deal?

Once again --- it says I can invite UNLIMITED USERS.. but my test credits are only 10. And given your comment it means that ON THE PLAN... the FREE users that can use the test are 10 people... So if I invite 1000 people to take the test... I will have to pay for the remaining 990? Is that correct? How is that an appsumo level deal?

Yes, that's exactly what I want to understand. Unlimited users is what makes it a benchmark AppSumo deal, but then the terminology of credits is used to bring it down to 10 test takers - which is their free tier via regular website subscription.

A better deal would be limit number of active tests we can have at a time like 20 different active tests but either unlimited or 500+test takers/month
