Q: Is gato GraphQL more tailed to 'extract data from WP - or equal extracting as posting
For some reason, after reading the reviews, and the Q&A's, I got the feeling that your focus is mostly extracting data from WP DB? You do provide examples of posting to WP web sites, and wanted to get confirmation from you, that it is a balanced focus. I have been waiting 6 years for a solution were I no longer have to add a products manually to WP. I am dyslexic and automation is my second nature! Anything and everything automation I am in.
And happy to contribute to improving them. I am brilliant in that area! Sure hope you not only create a WooCommerce extension, but also give it all the loving care, to include everything one can do with csv imports and on the web site. And lastly, will it be included on your LTD or extra? and if extra, what are you estimating? and hopefully LTD - total aversion to monthly as many here.
And yes, it has automation: Once you've created a persisted query, you can trigger it automatically via hook or wp-cron (starting on tier 3, as you need the Automation extension)
WooCommerce extension: still need to build it, it's planned for by end of Q2 2025. It's not included in any AppSumo tier. You can purchase it as LTD, pricing is already on the site (all Premium Extensions have same price, check any of them)
Hi, close are you as it relates to the woocommerce integration? will it include the ability to be able to update prices? dynamically, and likewise should be able to modify description, SEO Fields, search Fields, pictures etc?
And related to that question, to manage different prices based on its wholesale or retail and who logged on. how about the creation of quotes the reduction of spamming?
And how easy is it with your GitHub repository to create additional plugins?, especially now that we have AI?
Thanks and your LTD on your website definitely looks more attractive!
i did not add in the description, the question on the title, ability to post hundreds of items that we have in our postgres database, along with pictures, videos, etc
Thanks Leonardo. What is your guesstimate in having the WooCommerce extension completed? 1 months, 6 months? - And my question bellow, was not to 'extract' data from WP database, but rather populate data - ie, new products in their corresponding categories, pictures, seo description, url,etc
Yes, you can populate data too. Eg: Check my latest demo, on adding SEO metadata: https://gatographql.com/demos/creating-yoast-seo-metadata-for-masterstudy-lms-courses-and-lessons-using-chatgpt. I'm planning to deliver the first iteration of the WooCommerce extension before end of Q2 2025 (including basic stuff, such as querying and mutating products)
Q: Few questions
1) when approximately do you plan do add WPML integration? I remember reading somewhere that you said it's after you add WooCommerce integration. I would highly recommend to add WPML support as soonest as it's a very popular and powerful language plugin. 2)would you tell me how gatographql works in a nutshell? For criticical data transfer and access, does it use your servers or will it work only on my wordpress site server? In other words is your gatographql is cloud service or locally on my server installed service? 3)would you please have discord or Facebook group where people could talk and share ideas and help each other solve problems rather than bothering you and wasting your time, which you could spend on development? 4)would you please have tighter integration with Bricks Builder as it's currently top pro choice for wordpress.
A: 1) I don't have an answer to that, it'll certainly won't be any time soon. 2) it's installed on your WP site, as any standard WP plugin. It's not a SaaS. 3) I don't mind you contacting me, I should have docs for pretty much everything, and I can point you in the right direction. If some doc was missing, I should add it 4) I'm actually considering it, might start work on it soon
Actually, back to 3), I wouldn't mind having a FB group, but I need to check with my users if they'd be interested. I'll ask on the next newsletter I send
Q: Whitelabel Plugin
Hi GatoGraphQL Team,
I want to use GatoGraphQL on my client websites, but I don't want my clients to know that I'm using GatoGraphQL. Does itoffer a white-label plan?
Let me explain why this feature is crucial for premium users like me who have invested in the ultimate plan:
1. As an agency owner, maintaining my brand identity across all client projects is essential. White-labeling allows me to present a more professional and cohesive service offering.
2. Many clients prefer working with agencies that appear to have proprietary solutions. When they see third-party tools, they might try to cut out the middleman and go directly to the source, which can impact my business.
Just to be sure: I do offer white labeling, you need to contact me via email so we can check your needs. (I mention since someone just gave me 1 taco saying "It looks like Gato GraphQL does not offer white labeling", well I do offer it)
Q: Updating Second site with query
Hi,
I'm interested in the plugin and wanted to see if this works with my goal for two sites. Whenever a new post is published on the main site (the English site), the Spanish site will also be updated accordingly.
Will this query help with my goal? https://gatographql.com/library/distribute-content-from-an-upstream-to-multiple-downstream-wordpress-sites
I use Metabox for custom post and custom fields, so I'm not sure if there will be a conflict there? No custom tables are used.

May 2, 2025A: Fetching data, transforming data, and updating data, the plugin is good for all of that!
Check my last demo, it combines a bit of everything:

you can execute bulk operations from hundreds of items from data coming from your WP database
