Q: Hey Richard!
Love the look and feel of GoBrunch. Struggling with screensharing though. I want to use the app for photo workshops. I want to share photos from my Lightroom App with my students in a GoBrunch room. Several issues: Is it only possible to share apps that are opened on the same page (I am using a Mac)? In Zoom, it shows me all screens/apps available to share, no matter if they are on the same or a seperate page. My only workaround so far: GoBrunch and LR on the same page, GoBrunch App to iPad screen and using my LR for the presentation on my MacBook. Is there any other more elegant way? Presentation mode, I didn't get at all. I would love screensharing to be as easy as in Zoom. Along with the options of seeing the participants and the presentation simultaneously on one screen. Hope I described my problem in an understandable way. Looking forward hearing from you. Thanks

Jun 20, 2024A: Hey gunnar8. Sounds an interesting use case.
If you're using Safari, that might be the issue as Safari only allows you to share your entire screen. You can use alternatively Chrome, Firefox or Edge.
The screen sharing engine is pretty much the same from google meet and all applications based on web. You'll be prompt to choose if you want to share a browser tab, an application window or the entire screen. In your case, you must choose Window and choose the LightRoom window and then click on Share. This will bring only your lightroom window to be presented in your room.
Difference between Dynamic and Presentation View
- Dynamic: You can resize and move your Presenter Cam, Screen share and chat. If you set as a default view, you and your attendees have freedom to manipulate individually they way they want.
- Presentation: The Presenter Cams and the Screen Share is fixed at the top of the room as an upper section in a more full-screen format and the chat is fixed at the right side.
This is how it looks like: https://www.canva.com/design/DAF0E9CqenM/587um4IaSDOTMCBJEBoDFw/view
You can either set the default for the room under This Room - Room Settings, or change individually only for you clicking on My View.
In order to see the screen and the participants at the same time, you'll need 2 monitors or use an external device such as your iPad, that's how the browser works.
Hope that helps. Cheers.
Good news. We launched last week our picture and picture and now you can see your screen and your attendees at the same time.
