Q: SCREEN SHARE I have been paying around with the screen share options and it's for some reason confusing.

All I need to do is be able to share my screen, but I also need to be able to see the other person. This is important to me. Which options to I go for and which mode to I pick to be able to do so? Thanks so much

A: Hi Janita. The screen sharing behavior is actually from the browser, same from all browser-based apps, including google meet. In order for you to see the screen and all participants at the same time, you will need 2 monitors or switch back to your room, but you cannot control the screen from there. There are some rumors around the webrtc community that there will be an API capable of controlling screen sharing directly from within a tab, but it's still not a reality. We are closely monitoring the progress. Ultimately, you'll see that it's just a matter of habit, as you can always switch back and forth from your presentation to your room. Hope that helps.

Thank you for this Richard. I couldn't stay with Meet for this exact reason. In my coaching, I need to see the screen as well as the client at the same time - with one screen. I am happy to hear that there is a whisper of the possibility. I will be glad to not have to keep paying for zoom for this single reason.

Good news here. We launched our Picture in Picture feature and how you can see your screen share and your participants at the same time.
