I wanted a way to create connection & community for a large group of business owners. We were zoomed out. But we needed a way to have live online connection. I am also a large scale event planner - both in person and online and wanted a system I could build online conferences on with ease.

One of the first things that GoBrunch does that is different than other online event software is the ability to go in and set up a room with branding, files, and test things out for the speaker days before the event goes live. With other popular softwares the room doesn't go live until 5 minutes before the schedule and you're left scrambling with tech errors with the speakers.

Right now we are using it daily for online co-working and body doubling exercises. I have set up the rooms so they are available 24/7 for my community to use as they need. We can all work in silence and if any of my community needs support we just hop into another room I have set up with my branding for live community and connection. My wish for these rooms is the ability to have a changeable password I can add on to make sure only my paid community has access to these rooms.
Update: I messaged them this and they gave me a solution for this. So exciting.

A few features that sets GoBrunch apart:
- the ability to have your cam replace your avatar. This is a great way to see who is in the room and build a face to face connection.
- Presenters can share their presentation AND have their face be a separate moveable screen so it helps viewers get context.
- This feature also allows for live captioning on the speaker side by using apps like Google Slide that have live captions enabled and then shared to the room. Gamechanger.
- The share screen abilities lets me host a countdown timer in the room for the silent co-working sessions. The great part about this is the people in the room can all individually move or resize the shared screens and the chat section to customize their line of vision.
- You can even change the background of the rooms to fit your brand. I hope they make the templates for the backgrounds readily available to the community so we can create & customize each room to fit where the "seats" are.
- Room controls are awesome - you can control who is talking, sharing, typing at any point. I do wish that people were automatically muted when they enter a permanent room.
- Webinar style rooms are created easily and the password has an added on security element.
- Their customer service is the best of the best. Every time I have an issue, I open the help chat and it's fixed. They are personable and responsive. They could probably build a course on customer service.
- New features like a whiteboard are being added on and all I can say is "yes please"

I really could keep going all on all of the use cases for this! My community has already started buying it for their communities, so definitely don't hesitate to get this if you're wondering if it's right for you.
