Spend matches the ad platforms. Revenue and the AI don’t. I refunded.

I ran Growify against a live store with Google Ads, Meta Ads, and first-party Woo order attribution for the same date range.

Spend is the part that works. Google and Meta spend in Growify lined up with Ads Manager / Google Ads. If you want one screen for what you already paid, it’s fine.

Revenue, orders, and ROAS are not a third source of truth. When I asked the AI for Google performance, it repeated Google Ads’ own attributed conversions almost line for line. The Google tab showed a different, more “store-like” number that still did not match our Woo paid-Google orders (last-click / UTM + gclid). On Meta, the dashboard matched Ads Manager exactly, including the 7-day click / 1-day view window. So Growify is mostly a mirror of the ad platforms, not an independent measurement layer.

The AI is the weak point. In one session it told me to raise Google budget, then to scale Meta instead, then not to raise Google because a shorter default window looked bad — after I had asked for a specific 30-day range. It switches attribution (platform vs pixel vs blended) depending on how you phrase the question, and it does not warn you clearly enough when it just changed the window or the model. I would not let it decide spend.

If you already have Ads Manager, Google Ads, and store attribution, Growify did not close the gap I bought it for. If you want a pretty blended dashboard and you treat every recommendation as suspect, maybe. For AppSumo money aimed at “better data,” I asked for a refund.

Hi there 👋

Thank you for testing this so carefully and for writing such a detailed review. That kind of breakdown is genuinely useful.

A few things are easy to mix together in Growify, so here's how the layers actually work:

1️⃣ Spend
Spend is pulled directly from the Google Ads and Meta APIs. That's why it lined up with Ads Manager and Google Ads. That part is meant to match.

2️⃣ Revenue, orders, and ROAS
Those are not meant to be a copy of the ad platforms, or of Woo last-click.

Growify has its own PowerPixel, and the Attribution page is built to show both sources side by side:
• Platform-reported numbers (what Google / Meta attributed, including their windows — e.g. Meta 7-day click / 1-day view)
• Growify-tracked numbers (the purple Growify icon)

Those two will often differ. A store's last-click / UTM + gclid numbers can differ again. The side-by-side view is there so you can compare them — not so Growify becomes a third identical source of truth.

3️⃣ The AI
The AI is separate from the dashboard. It answers based on the prompt you give it, and it has both platform data and pixel data available.

If a question doesn't specify which source to use, it can follow Google's own attributed conversions, pixel data, or a blend — and it can also shift window or model depending on how the question is phrased. That's a fair critique. It should be clearer when it does that.

AI can also get things wrong sometimes. Even ChatGPT still tells people to double-check critical information. Growify's AI is there to help you dig into analysis faster. It should not be the thing that decides spend. Final marketing decisions still need to sit with you.

We understand this didn't close the "better data" gap you bought it for, and we respect the refund. Thank you for laying out the test so clearly.
