What is the maximum number of characters/words you support per text-to-speech conversion in the Direct TTS Generator?
Roughly how many characters does 1 AI credit correspond to?
Do you plan to support uploading PDF or other document files directly (instead of pasting text)?

We’ve recently released new TTS models and added many new voices, especially for European languages.
1. Maximum characters per conversion
Currently, the Direct TTS Generator supports up to 5,000 characters per request.
However, we are releasing an updated version by the start of next week that will allow processing up to 1 million characters in a single document (using your available credits), which means hours of audio generation.
2. AI credits to characters ratio
This depends on the selected voice (TTS model), as different models have different costs.
For example:
Standard AI engine: approximately 1 credit = 1 character
More advanced models: approximately 1 credit = 1.6 characters (or higher cost depending on the model)
3. PDF / document support
Yes, we are planning to support direct PDF and document uploads, and this feature is coming in upcoming releases.
