I need a proper German voice for my site, and I got the possibility to preview the new ultra realistic voices.

After testing it I can confirm that the pronounciation is absolutely top now. It was important to me, that the voice sounds German, reads the words and sentences correctly; with the old voices there used to be a Amrican accent, but that is completely gone. The numbers are read correctly and also the English expressions within German are read correctly.

I can fully recommend GSpeech now, I think it is becoming a very strong player in this field.

Our non-profit, non-commercial educational institution purchased the Tier 5 license of GSpeech in order to provide text-to-speech capabilities on the websites we've set up for our members (who are themselves organisations and clubs).

We experienced some awkwardness with the initial set-up, but now feel quite comfortable with all the buttons, sliders and options.

The selection of quality voices is good. The diction is clear and not "robotic".
Many of the voices allow pitch and speed control.

Credits are only consumed when the initial text-to-speech conversion happens.
In other words, credits are not consumed every time a visitor has GSpeech read a page.
If the text on the page is altered/updated, GSpeech will detect that, and reprocess that page as if it's a new page.

The embedded player is easy to customise. It has no GSpeech branding.
Words that require special pronunciation -- such as abbreviations -- can be individually defined.

The founder has a very strong commitment to continual refinement and improvement of the platform, which means that, over time, it will get even better.
