Can we expect a video editing option in gumlet were we can see the track editor or edit by transcript? ( there was a question in 2024 about it - you said it was in your plans)
Hello Gumlet, I am trying to host some short videos on gublet so i can link it to my webite but the format did not turn out right. It does not fit my website frame yet. can you let me know how i can fix the format dimension issue so it will fit my screeen?

we are currently testing Gumlet to replace the current service we have for our wordpress site.
We have a module there that is specifically for online summits, and it seems, that - the HLS links are not accepted by the player - the MP4 links are accepted, but for some strange reason, the whole template is entirely destroyed when implementing the MP4 link
Any ideas?

A: Hi j45, we have a WordPress plugin when installed can be used directly with shortcode or Gumlet block.
But if you still want to use the player, can you tell me which player you are using? Because if MP4 is used, Gumlet has no say in how the player use it. MP4 file is similar to any MP4 file with optimised version of uploaded video and CDN inbuilt.
We can't use Gumlet’s WordPress plugin or Gumlet block.
We are using a third party WordPress plugin for online summits which has its own video player and layout system. This plugin only provides a video URL placeholder field, where we can paste either:
an MP4 file URL, or
an HLS .m3u8 URL
We are not able to change or configure the player its
We are not able to configure or change the video player itself in any way. The main issue we’re facing is that on mobile devices, the video does not play when users tap the thumbnail. This behavior is what we were expecting to work, but it’s currently not working with Gumlet URLs (both MP4 and HLS) in this setup.
Q: Is Gumlet suitable for high traffic as in an online Summit with 100.000 participants
Hi,
I got tier 5 in Gumlet as I think it might be able to replace one of the services we are currently using. How is it with the bandwith and with being able to withstand punctual spikes of 100,000 viewers (in reality it might be just 25% of that at one given time, or less).
Most of the time we do not have a lot of traffic, but when the summits run, we have high res long form videos running.
Can Gumlet handle that and is it included in the deal (tier 5)?
