Q: Is the chrome extension, that is required for experts, white label?
Hello,
1. I am doing a two-week free trial and noticed the chrome extension required for experts is not white label, at least in the trial it is not. Please advise if the chrome extension is white labelled if I purchase tier 5 or if it will have your branding as it is now https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/gurulize-experts/hglendbinljdmphkphpmnjghhboleiec?pli=1
2. I tested the website editing features and they seem very buggy. I was using the latest version of Microsoft edge. Is there a specific browser you recommend for editing the website?
3. I can see you allow css to be added in backend. Where do you provide access to the html to modify layouts and other elements?
Thank you for reaching out with your questions and feedback. We’re happy to assist you.
Regarding the Chrome extension: The extension is required only for instant calls and, due to technical limitations, it cannot be white-labeled. We understand your concerns and appreciate your understanding in this matter.
As for the website editing features: We recommend using Chrome for a more seamless experience. If you encountered any specific bugs, could you kindly provide more details about the issues? Our team will investigate and address them promptly.

A: Hello! Yes, the transaction fees of 1%, 2%, 3%, and 4% mentioned in the plans & features section are charged by Gurulize in addition to the commissions of payment systems like Stripe and PayPal. These fees help us keep the SaaS subscription costs as low as they are today, despite the high expenses associated with cloud platforms.
Q: Other Integrations - LinkedIN - SendFOX - Vivomeetings
Hello, As part of the APPSUMO family I have bought other software like email provider SendFOX and Video calls software Vivomeetings, you mention you can integrate with Mailchimp and Zoom or Google meet, is there a possibility to integrate with SendFOX and Vivomeetings? Also, as many of my potential customers are in LinkedIN, do you have a way to integrate with this platform? i mean for the Blogging feature, otherwise it may become a bit cumbersome to do this manually. I guess the true value is to be flexible in terms of integrating with other external platforms and more specifically for the ones we acquire in APP SUMO. Thanks for the reply Francesco
A: Hello Francesco, For webinars, you can use virtually any video conferencing solution you prefer. However, for one-on-one sessions, we offer integration with Gurulize Meetings (P2P), Zoom, and Perculus (a powerful platform, especially for tutors). We may also consider integrating with Vivomeetings—I'll pass this suggestion to the product team.
Regarding blogging and LinkedIn integration, are you referring to posting blogs directly on LinkedIn, such as a share button to post content on social media platforms, including LinkedIn? If so, I believe this feature can be implemented quickly. I'll forward this request to the product team as well. Thank you for your interest in Gurulize!
Perfect, this will be a decision making point for me to get the platform, one area that you do not mention in your reply, how about integrate the email provider SendFOX (in addition to the current one you offer MailChimp), again let's try to make the best to use the software some of us has purchased in the part in APPSUMO, thanks for your confirmation.....regards Francesco
Thank you for your suggestion! We will definitely look into SendFOX and evaluate the possibility of integrating it. If we’re able to implement the integration, we’ll be sure to inform you.
Hi there! The implementation phase is almost complete. Next week, we plan to conduct product testing and, if there are no issues during the testing phase, quickly roll out the SendFOX feature live. Stay tuned for some exciting news!
Q: Can we see a demo of real clients using it in their practice? or any demo that you can show? Thank you.
A: Thank you for your question! To assist you better, could you clarify what you mean by "help documentation"? This will help us address your concern more effectively. Additionally, we have detailed instructions in our Help Center on how to use the chat feature from the Expert Panel to communicate with your customers in real time. Q: Would you add razorpay?
Hi would you add razorpay or any other good Indian payment gateway?
A: Thank you for your question! Currently, Razorpay or other Indian payment gateways are not supported on our platform. However, if we receive enough demand for it, we can certainly consider adding it to our payment integration roadmap in the future.
Only your brand or domain can be white-labeled. Therefore, all experts providing services on the platform will operate under your domain and brand. As an example of an expert page link, I can provide: "www.yourdomain.com/experts/expertname".
I hope this has been helpful. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us!
A: Hi! Currently, we support global payment systems such as Stripe and PayPal. Stripe also supports Pix in Brazil. By connecting your Stripe account to your platform, you can easily accept payments via Pix. For more details, please visit the Stripe website.
Payment systems like Mercadopago, Pix, and Transbank are widely used in their respective regions. If the number of requests for integration with these systems increases, we can quickly begin R&D!
As our presence grows in specific regions, we will continue to expand our support for local payment methods to better meet user needs.
A: Hi! Gurulize currently supports English and Turkish. However, you can manually customize the content on your platform in any language of your choice. Please note, however, that the management panels will remain in English/Turkish. We are actively working on introducing multi-language support in future updates. Keep in mind that we can easily add support for a different language across the admin panel, expert panel, and client web applications. After your purchase on AppSumo, you can contact us at info@gurulize.com. Stay tuned for improvements in online consultancy!

Q: Does Gurulize Offer an Internal Ads System for Expert Promotions?
Thank you for the response, Nilay! I appreciate the details about the review system and the promotional resources. However, I think there was a misunderstanding regarding the advertising system I mentioned.
What I meant was whether Gurulize has an **internal advertising system** where experts or consultants on your platform can pay to have their profiles or listings promoted at the top of search results, similar to how Google Sponsored Ads or Fiverr Ads work. This feature would allow consultants to gain more visibility directly within the Gurulize platform itself, rather than relying on external advertising platforms like Google Ads.
Could you let me know if such a feature exists or if it’s something that might be considered in the future? Thank you!
A: Thank you, your feedback as a valued customer is incredibly important to us. Unfortunately, it is not currently possible for experts to advertise within the platform. We carefully consider each suggestion and add improvements to our roadmap that we believe will enhance the overall experience.
Thank you for reaching out! Could you please share the email address you used to sign up for the free trial? You can send it directly to info@gurulize.com, and our technical team will look into the issue and assist you promptly.
We’re here to help and ensure you have a smooth experience! 😊
A: Could you please clarify what you mean by track record? If you are referring to our roadmap, we would be delighted to share it with you. The dedication of our team to this project is beyond words! Seeing customers who share our excitement motivates us to work tirelessly to enhance the product and elevate it to a point where it becomes a widely recognized and used solution in the global online consulting industry! :)
Q: Do I need zoom or do you have in-built meeting feature?
Hi, I don't just want a booking software, I want a tool that actually let me do the meetings within it. Is that possible? If yes, what are the meeting durations?
A: Gurulize has a built-in video and audio call feature, so you don’t need a third-party application like Zoom. You can conduct all your one-on-one online meetings seamlessly within the platform.
A: As I understand it, Trafft offers video call functionality through third-party integrations like WhatsApp or Zoom, while Gurulize provides its own built-in one-on-one video call infrastructure. This means you don't need to pay for additional third-party tools. Although you could use free versions of those tools with Trafft, you wouldn’t benefit from a professionally personalized website that seamlessly integrates calendar management, payment systems, client management, and detailed reporting—all of which Gurulize offers in one unified platform.
So basically they both have the same features other than that correct? The reason I'm asking, i have a bookkeeping company with 1 assistant (they are in the Philippines). I'm looking for a platform that both of us can access and manage client meetings (bookings), share files with clients and have them be able to share them back to us, phone call and messaging Ability, etc. Which would be better?
Everything you’ve listed—managing client meetings (bookings), sharing files with clients and allowing them to share files back with you, as well as phone call and messaging functionality—is available on Gurulize.
In addition, Gurulize offers advanced reporting features, enabling you to track your business performance in detail and stay on top of your operations seamlessly.
Ok thanks for your help. 1 more question. I'm thinking of purchasing gurulize. I already have trafft. If I purchase gurulize and compare both softwares would I be able to get a refund for returning which one i device that I won't need?
You can purchase Gurulize on AppSumo and return it up to 60 days after purchase. We’re excited to welcome you to Gurulize and are here to support your e-consulting journey. Feel free to reach out with more questions!
Q: Commission and Multiple Niches
Hello, This platform looks very tempting. I do have a couple of questions. 1. I saw your answer on the commission, but I am still not clear if you are still going to charge 'Your' commission on top of the Stripe payment and transaction fees. For example, your top tier 4, has a "1% payment gateway commission per transaction" . I do have Stripe and I would definitely connect my Stripe account. I understand that Stripe will charge a 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction. In this case, would I be responsible for your 1% and Stripe's 2.9% + or are you saying that on that Tier and the Stripe connection, I am only going to pay the Stripe fees? 2. Is it possible or feasible to mix 'Niches' on your platform or is the use case One Niche per platform? i.e., can I create one platform and have Doctors, Lawyers, Fitness, etc., all in one platform?
A: Thank you for your questions! Let me address them:
Commission Fees: In addition to Stripe's standard fees (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction), Gurulize charges a 1% payment gateway fee for Tier 4 plans.
Mixing Niches: You have complete flexibility to design your platform based on your desired model. It's absolutely possible to include experts from multiple niches on a single platform. For example, one of our clients successfully hosts both fitness trainers and dietitians on their platform, allowing customers to access experts from different fields in one place.
A: Direct Payment Options: Yes, Gurulize supports cash payment options, and no transaction fees are charged for these payments. However, please note that managing and tracking these payments would be your responsibility.
Transaction Commission for Direct Payments: Gurulize does not charge transaction fees for offline payments, allowing you to handle cash transactions freely.
Reselling or Charging Other Experts: Yes, you can resell access to experts. For instance, with a Tier 2 plan (5 experts), you can use one account yourself and assign the remaining four. Each expert will have unique login credentials for the Expert Panel to independently manage their appointments, services, and reports.
White-Labeling: Gurulize offers full white-label customization, allowing you to personalize the platform with your branding, including logos, colors, and domain.
Expert Payments: A common payment model is allocating a percentage (e.g., 50%) of session fees as earnings for your experts. They can add their IBAN details, and you can transfer their earnings based on the calculated shares.
We’re excited to welcome you to AppSumo and are here to support your e-consulting journey. Feel free to reach out with more questions!
For appointments sold through the platform, there’s no direct "cash collection" option. However, experts can manually track cash payments by going to the Expert Panel, selecting "Add Session" in their calendar, and marking the session as "Payment received in cash".
Q: Booking Integration with WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, SMS
Does Gurulize support integration with channels like WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and SMS for functions such as booking, modifying, canceling appointments, and making payments?
A: Currently, Gurulize does not support integration with WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, or SMS for booking, modifying, canceling appointments, or processing payments.
E.g. if a client wants to provide some information - can the platform accept a file and store it with their appointment or a client profile. Can the Expert upload a file(s) for the client to download? If so, how secure is it?
A: Yes, clients can upload files, and these documents are securely stored, accessible only by the relevant Expert and Admin. Additionally, our platform uses Akamai/Linode as our cloud provider, and we are ISO 27001 certified, ensuring high-level data protection and compliance with international security standards.
A: For Tier 2 and above, also known as Team Packages, the Gurulize logo in the footer can definitely be removed! You can either remove it yourself using CSS coding or reach out to us for assistance. We’ll be happy to help! 😊

Q: Zero (0%) commission for direct payments?
Stripe is not yet available in my country and Paypal is not commonly used.
1. Is there an option for direct payments such as "Over-the-Counter" payments or "Cash on Delivery" (COD)?
2. If Direct Payment is available, will the transaction commission rate still be implemented?
3. Can I resell or charge other Experts?
For example on Tier 2 (5 experts). I will use 1 and sell the other 4.
If that is possible, will they have their own separate login, dashboard, and reports?
Can I white-label and sell as my own brand?

For appointments sold through the platform, there’s no direct "cash collection" option. However, experts can manually track cash payments by going to the Expert Panel, selecting "Add Session" in their calendar, and marking the session as "Payment received in cash".

Q: Can a client upload a file
E.g. if a client wants to provide some information - can the platform accept a file and store it with their appointment or a client profile. Can the Expert upload a file(s) for the client to download? If so, how secure is it?
Zeynep_Gurulize
Dec 3, 2024A: Yes, clients can upload files, and these documents are securely stored, accessible only by the relevant Expert and Admin. Additionally, our platform uses Akamai/Linode as our cloud provider, and we are ISO 27001 certified, ensuring high-level data protection and compliance with international security standards.

Q: Can the Gurulize logo be removed from the bottom of the website?
Is there a way to turn this off?

Edited Dec 3, 2024A: For Tier 2 and above, also known as Team Packages, the Gurulize logo in the footer can definitely be removed! You can either remove it yourself using CSS coding or reach out to us for assistance. We’ll be happy to help! 😊
