I’ve been using Hedy in a couple of meetings now (both in English and in German), and I’m honestly impressed. 🤓✨

The transcript works really well, the suggestions are super helpful, and it does a great job identifying action items and summarizing everything. One key thing: you really need to define the meeting context clearly beforehand – whether it’s a workshop, status update, or planning session – so Hedy knows what it’s dealing with.

I’m using the Windows client together with the mobile app sync, and so far everything has been running smoothly.

I’ve purchased a lot of software on AppSumo, and Hedy AI is easily in my top three purchases.

What I appreciate most is that it does exactly what it promises. Whether I’m in a client meeting, a leadership session, brainstorming ideas, or on a conference call, Hedy just works. I don’t have to think about it. It quietly captures the conversation so I can stay focused instead of worrying about taking notes.

The team also deserves credit for how they build the product. The updates are thoughtful, practical, and genuinely improve the experience. They aren’t adding features just for the sake of adding features. Each release makes the product more intuitive and more valuable.

I believe in Hedy enough that I purchased multiple lifetime licenses and gave them to members of my team. That’s not something I do often. It reflects the confidence I have in both the product and the people behind it.

One of the best AppSumo purchases I’ve ever made.

The application strikes me as very good and functional. I truly value being able to record my meetings on both my phone and computer and receive useful transcripts and reports. I'm giving it four stars because the constant work and daily improvement behind the project are evident. However, I believe there's still much room for development. When comparing it to other tools like Plaud, I consider Plaud to be superior, as it has pre-designed templates for different reports and a more robust platform. Personally, I hope this app incorporates more editing options in the future and improves transcription accuracy, especially on the mobile version and for the Spanish language, where I still detect some significant errors. Despite these details, I continue to use the application to get accustomed to its operation, as I see great potential in it and my goal is for it to become my primary tool over time.

Tested this tool on multiple devices (phone, tab and computer) for transcription, summaries and assistant features with Norwegian and English language on various recommended models in several meetings. But all this product managed to transcribe was gibberish and non-related, it was totally useless and ended in a refund.

Using for business meetings on Zoom and Meet. My first frustration was that it was giving me terrible suggestions, but even so I could tell that it was just lacking the context of previous conversations. I forgave that. My biggest problem is that it cannot tell who is talking if they're the same assumed gender. It's telling me to follow up on things that I just assigned to someone else, it's suggesting I ask a follow up question on something I just presented, it's a mess.

Told it that a particular meeting was going to be contentious and that I needed help knowing when we were going around in circles, how to better communicate when someone else just doesn't have the knowledge and skills I do and it frustrates me, and most importantly to tell me when to shut up and move on. It did with flying colors. "Try explaining it this way" and then "It's time to table this and move on." WHEW!

I used it for a doctor appointment. It got the medical jargon wrong, but it captured my task options perfectly.

Used it while I was setting up some software, so as I had ideas I could simply say out loud "I need to remember that when X happens, we will need to do Y" so I could capture those action items and port them into my project tasks. Amazing. It also have me a couple suggestions for other follow ups that were useful.

Where it really shines is in my parenting conversations. I've had a couple chats with my 9 year old and I was able to both stay present rather than trying to remember the decisions we made, but it also gave me follow up questions that ended up being insightful and leading to productive discussions.

All in all, just the ability to grab action items and list them all in a logical order is worth every penny I paid. With continued context I think its suggestions in meetings will get better. I just need it to have the ability to read who is actually speaking, much better than it does.
