Exceeds Granola!!!
I bought this product less than a week ago. I have been a heavy Granola.AI user with a monthly bill and I approached this with skepticism. I have been running both bots for a week and only found one insufficiency in my use. I reached out through the customer support channel, got engaged with Julian via chat and very shortly got a committment that they would not ony add that feature but he committed to making it far better than the Granola feature. The feature is being able to share your session notes - transcripts with others without them having to create an account, which other bots require and is a non-starter for me and my use. I am impressed with this developer and I encourage everyone to get this before the lifetime option goes away. Phenomenal software with tremendous responsive support. Good job team. I will reccomend this to everyone I know.
Update: Less than three days later the update with the fix is live. Great response by the Hedy team.....Don't wait, get this tool, it is fantastic and just getting better.

I run a UK coaching practice and needed to know whether Hedy could transcribe confidential client messages safely. So I read everything and sent a detailed written enquiry with further questions.
Hedy passed: a proper DPA covers UK GDPR, and new accounts can have EU data residency, and transcription can be done locally. If you have strict confidentiality needs, Hedy can be configured to be private.
Support answered every question fully and promptly, and even corrected their documentation when my questions uncovered errors. My lifetime licence also transferred between accounts without fuss. Highly recommended.

It's Okay
I have used it in four different business meetings and it's okay. It's accurate. It does what it says it does. It suggests questions in real time that I could ask in the conversation I'm having. None of the questions it suggested were surprising. That may be because I'm a senior level person with decades of experience in my industry. So far, it hasn't suggested anything to me that is high enough value that I would call this tool a must-use. For someone else, possibly with less experience, this may be a must-use, but not for me. Honestly, I would have returned it, but I missed the window.

Constant evolution replaces early doubt
I am pleased with Hedy evolving regularly. First sessions were really much lower than Granola + lack of integration.

I’ve been using Hedy in a couple of meetings now (both in English and in German), and I’m honestly impressed. 🤓✨
The transcript works really well, the suggestions are super helpful, and it does a great job identifying action items and summarizing everything. One key thing: you really need to define the meeting context clearly beforehand – whether it’s a workshop, status update, or planning session – so Hedy knows what it’s dealing with.
I’m using the Windows client together with the mobile app sync, and so far everything has been running smoothly.
