JUST GET IT
Installed it with no glitches or drama ( and I hate computers). I also hate typing and listening to meetings .. Have it running in the background of anything you are attending to get used to it. It will serve you well after the meetings are over too. You will come to realise it is a Godsend! I get it to do all kinds of things now to prep me for other stages of my work flow. Its is intuitive . When I have it on spiritual counselling sometimes the things I require takes quite some time to be completed by the host who talks slower and longer. I made the error of asking it to do the same request in business meeting mode and it admitted it was better for me to switch to spiritual... ( i didn't know it noticed the difference ). It is reliable with its transcribing too and if I wanted I could get it to identifiy speakers....................... Unsure if it can translate but that would be another gem.

Aug 31, 2026Hi, Hindi is supported in Hedy. You’ll need to download and select the NemoTron multilingual speech model in Hedy’s settings. It works on all devices and automatically detects when people switch between languages during a conversation.
If you’re using the desktop app and prefer Whisper, download and select the Whisper Large model, which also supports Hindi.
Please give one of those models a try....

Exceeds Granola!!!
I bought this product less than a week ago. I have been a heavy Granola.AI user with a monthly bill and I approached this with skepticism. I have been running both bots for a week and only found one insufficiency in my use. I reached out through the customer support channel, got engaged with Julian via chat and very shortly got a committment that they would not ony add that feature but he committed to making it far better than the Granola feature. The feature is being able to share your session notes - transcripts with others without them having to create an account, which other bots require and is a non-starter for me and my use. I am impressed with this developer and I encourage everyone to get this before the lifetime option goes away. Phenomenal software with tremendous responsive support. Good job team. I will reccomend this to everyone I know.
Update: Less than three days later the update with the fix is live. Great response by the Hedy team.....Don't wait, get this tool, it is fantastic and just getting better.

I run a UK coaching practice and needed to know whether Hedy could transcribe confidential client messages safely. So I read everything and sent a detailed written enquiry with further questions.
Hedy passed: a proper DPA covers UK GDPR, and new accounts can have EU data residency, and transcription can be done locally. If you have strict confidentiality needs, Hedy can be configured to be private.
Support answered every question fully and promptly, and even corrected their documentation when my questions uncovered errors. My lifetime licence also transferred between accounts without fuss. Highly recommended.
