Very Impressed
I'd like to first compare it to Letterly, a good piece of software that everyone was going crazy over here on AppSumo. I had both and got a refund on Letterly and kept Hedy AI.
Main Reason: Hedy AI can record for an unlimited length. Letterly was 15 mins.
Secondary: While yes Letterly did a good job rewriting texts and my voice notes, for my use cases Hedy AI did almost the exact same thing. Wish I captured a screen shot to show the similarities.
Onto the Hedy AI Review.
This app is so handy. Although I haven't been able to get the iPad version up and running on my Macbook, I have found two ways to use it for my coaching calls. If over the phone, I just answer on my macbook and let Hedy listen via my speakers and it does an amazing meeting summary with action steps and more.
If I'm doing a virtual call (like zoom etc.), I plug my iPhone into my audio board (I have a home studio) and it does the same and gives me and those who I consult action steps, products I recommend and more.
It's super easy to copy and paste the summaries and detailed notes to text or just fire off an email.
I also use Hedy AI to jot down personal notes to do lists and ideas for social media posts. I'm not sure if I'm doing that correctly, but I verbally tell Hedy something like, "I am brain storming a post for instagram" or "Please write down my to do list in a bullet form starting with.." and as I fumble my words through all of it, Hedy makes sense of it all and I get a great detailed list or summary of what I just said and it makes me look and sound way smarter than I did verbally lol.
Biggest con is that there's no desktop integration. After about an hour or so conversation, my battery level drops down to around 60% after being 90% or more prior to the call so I do see that becoming a huge problem if I take multiple calls back to back. If there's a way to get a chrome extension or desktop app to do what it does on my phone, man, deal of the year.
This one is not going back and I'm tempted to get another license for my wife, despite her not "needing" it at the moment.
