Fatal bugs, no support
I tried to make my first sales room in HeyBase 10 days ago - 8 months after I bought the LTD. Since it has been on sale for so long, I expected a relatively mature product where at least the basic functionality would work. Boy, was I wrong... I encountered fatal bugs, such as not being able to share the page at all, and many smaller ones like the app saying that my changes were "Saved" but when I went back, my last batch of updates were all gone - not saved. The UI is extremely confusing. I have 2 SaaS companies and have been in IT my entire life, and I can't figure out the UI even if my life depended on it. There are functions missing where you would expect them and added where they are not needed, many with confusing icons and without any hint (e.g. on hover), so the only way to find out what they do is to click - "surprise me". I spent most of the time while I was trying to make it work staring at the screen and desperately looking for things that absolutely should have been there... thinking "huh" you've got to be kidding! am I blind?" Basically it's a confusing mess without support. I sent several messages for the last 10 days and the only reply I got (5 days ago) was "Sorry for these issues, let me check and get back to you with the resolution" - and they didn't. My last chat message has been sitting unread for 5 days. It feels like abandonware. I'm past the refund time limit, I'm stuck with something that has no use whatsoever - it doesn't even perform the most basic functionality it is supposed to.
Given that it's still available on AppSumo, and they STILL don't care about their existing customers, not even pretending to care to prevent reviews like this one I am forced to write to warn others not to invest in HeyBase... it really shows that this company has probably moved on and abandoned the product. You have been warned, buy at your own risk.
