I bought Tier 1 expecting a dashboard of which AI bots were hitting my site. What I actually got was visibility into things I'd never seen before: whether Googlebot has found an article I just published, traffic HoneyLog identifies as Fake Human despite normal-looking browser user agents, and a world of 404s I rarely see in GA4.

The report builder is the standout feature. Instead of "Googlebot visited 9 times," I can ask which URLs, which status codes, and how long each request took. That's saved me from a couple of wrong conclusions already, including one case where 12 requests to an article turned out to all be Fake Human once I filtered by bot.

Two honest gripes. Onboarding is rough: I hit an unclear "waiting for aggregation" message with no sense of how long to expect, and ended up contacting support. HoneyLog is also much better at showing you what happened than telling you what to do about it. If you're comfortable digging into the data, that's fine. If you want a tool that hands you the next steps, it's not there yet.

I'm keeping Tier 1. It's already surfacing insights I'm not getting anywhere else in my stack, and the 60-day return window gives you time to let HoneyLog prove its value on your own site before deciding.
