That is exactly true. A media is only counted when there's a post attached to it, and 6 months after publication when the post is deleted, it will be deleted as well.

The good news? We recently launched our "split captions" feature! This awesome update lets you schedule the same media to different platforms with completely different captions for each. It's a game-changer and opens the door for us to tackle the tagging feature soon! 🚪✨ While LinkedIn tagging is definitely on our roadmap, I can't give you an exact timeline just yet. Our dev team is currently focused on some other super cool features that we think you'll love. However, we do fully support Facebook Pages! As long as you have publishing permissions for a Facebook Page, we can absolutely connect to it and schedule posts on your behalf. 🙌 We have yet to support Facebook Pages as our customer base is focused on their own Pages, which is why we've focused our superpowers on Pages instead.

Hopper HQ does support adding thumbnails for video posts. You can easily upload a thumbnail, and it will be attached to the first second of your video, helping your posts look polished and professional.
That said, this method doesn’t currently work for YouTube, as YouTube handles thumbnails differently through its own platform settings.
You've got it exactly right! The 30-post limit in Tier 1 is per channel, not combined across all your accounts.
So if you connect: 1x Facebook profile 1x Instagram account 1x TikTok account
You'll get 30 posts per month for EACH of these channels. That means you can publish up to 90 posts total (30 on Facebook + 30 on Instagram + 30 on TikTok)! 🎉 This way, you're not limited to just 30 posts spread thinly across all your social platforms. thanks - i am a tier 3 user, but without a webhook or API i'll be leaving the platform. it has remained a bit too clunky to use with 1000 clicks need to do anything. i appreciate the UX improvements you have made in the past few months, but still not a great tool to manage a large workflow with other people, yet, and a webhook would solve this.

Great question about YouTube uploads! Here's what you need to know:
For YouTube, we currently only support Shorts through our platform. That means you can upload videos up to 3 minutes long for YouTube Shorts specifically. We don't support regular YouTube video uploads at this time.
But good news! We do support other short-form video formats:
✨ TikTok videos
✨ Instagram Reels
✨ YouTube Shorts
Each platform has its own time limits (around 10-15 minutes for TikTok and Instagram Reels), but for YouTube specifically, remember we're just handling Shorts with that 3-minute cap.

Regarding TikTok shoppable videos - we don't currently support this feature, but it's not totally our call. TikTok keeps their third-party accessible API pretty restricted for shoppable video functionality.

Post Approval is one of our awesome team collaboration features! Let me explain how it works:
When you're working with a team in Hopper HQ, some team members might only have permission to create drafts (not publish directly). But don't worry - they're not stuck in draft-land forever! 🙌
Here's the cool part:
‣ Team members with "Draft only" access can create posts and submit them for approval
‣ These posts then are available to team members who have full "Publish" permissions
‣ The publishers can then review the content, make any tweaks if needed, and schedule it
‣ Or if something needs fixing, they can send it back to drafts with notes
It's like having a mini content review system built right into Hopper HQ! Perfect for agencies, marketing teams, or anyone who needs a bit of oversight before posts go live. 🚀
This feature helps maintain quality control while still letting everyone contribute to your social media strategy!

Q: Thumbnails for Video Post
Does HopperHQ support thumbnails for video posts on Linkedin, YouTube, & Instagram? Some tools support scheduling, but you can not add thumbnails like Opus.

Hopper HQ does support adding thumbnails for video posts. You can easily upload a thumbnail, and it will be attached to the first second of your video, helping your posts look polished and professional.
That said, this method doesn’t currently work for YouTube, as YouTube handles thumbnails differently through its own platform settings.

Q: Tier 1: only 30 posts per month?
I dont understand, we can only post a total of 30 posts or is it 30 posts per channel per month?

You've got it exactly right! The 30-post limit in Tier 1 is per channel, not combined across all your accounts.
So if you connect:
1x Facebook profile
1x Instagram account
1x TikTok account
You'll get 30 posts per month for EACH of these channels. That means you can publish up to 90 posts total (30 on Facebook + 30 on Instagram + 30 on TikTok)! 🎉
This way, you're not limited to just 30 posts spread thinly across all your social platforms. Each connected account gets its own full 30-post monthly allowance.

Hopper HQ doesn’t limit how far in advance you can schedule content. Whether it’s weeks, months, or even years ahead, you’re free to plan out your social strategy on your own timeline.
The only real limitation is the number of posts you can have scheduled at one time within your 30-day usage window - this depends on your plan tier. Also, some restrictions may come from the social media platforms themselves, which can vary depending on the maturity and activity of your profiles.

thanks - i am a tier 3 user, but without a webhook or API i'll be leaving the platform. it has remained a bit too clunky to use with 1000 clicks need to do anything. i appreciate the UX improvements you have made in the past few months, but still not a great tool to manage a large workflow with other people, yet, and a webhook would solve this.
