How To Build A 7 Figure Newsletter Reviews

Everywhere on this listing says lifetime access and I tried accessing today to find that it was gone after a year.

I'm not in love with the course. If that changes, I will change my review too, but I don't even want to force myself through it.

I could have used the money better, but I knew the risk of buying a digital product here.

The creator is spectacular. They're authentic, knowledgeable, set out to share their best tips.

I'm not confident that they put their best into creating this course, though. It's lacking structure. The content is all over the place. It speaks about this and that (building a business, blog, newsletter, formatting, hosting) without offering a framework or A-Z solution for any topic.

It would be like (exaggerated): "Copywriting is like the most f*ing important. Learn copywriting. Here's a list of books on copywriting, go read them and then write good copy. Continue this course when you write great copy."

I did not buy this course to get a list of books I should read, creators I should follow, etc. or for general information. I'm not convinced I'll learn much from hearing about uncommon mistakes. Building your castle on Substack? Who even does that in 2022?

I did not buy this course to get general information on what skills are essential, I wanted to acquire them through this training.

Let aside that the “make money” niche is the easiest to get subscribers, I doubt that this is a blueprint for creating a 7 figure newsletter in a short time.

It's a "what to" training, not "how to".

I'm not sure the creator did the very step they shared as most influential: Create with the result (we can create successful mega newsletter businesses) in mind.

It might offer motivation and encouragement for people who'be been considering creating a newsletter.

It's interesting. There are good nuggets. If the cost is worth it for you for that, you'll love the course.

I will say that I can learn a lot from the creator, even though it might sadly not be part of the course I purchased. The free content I found during the buying process is impressive.

I would not buy this course again. Too much "it's great to have a nice house, go look how others are building nice houses", too little "here's how you build a nice house."

Still 3 tacos because I'm absolutely fascinated and impressed by the creator.

This is a great course, one of the best purchases I have made on Appsumo. I 100% recommend it. Codie Sanchez gives a step-by-step outline on how to build a media company through a newsletter giving out how the numbers played out for her and what she did at each level. Love it

I wasn't going to leave a review, but I felt I had to. One of the reasons why I got this course was codie said in a few of the comments that she was fine with refunds, even though the deal said no refunds. It was only this reason that I gave this a chance.

I got started, but it felt like reading "rich dad poor dad" where it tells you things, but never tells you anything. I also got my first newsletter from them and it seemed to completely miss the mark on what I thought it should have been. I also got my first upsell for some in person event where I could save $500 or $1000 depending on what I picked. So a newsletter that left me completely confused, a course that I didn't think I was going to learn from, and an upsell and I was like I gotta get my money back.

I let them know the end of last week, Saturday to be specific and codie replied saying "Wow. Surprised to hear that. Will make sure we take you off everything. Nikki can you handle ASAP and Luke will process ty!".

I sent a follow up email on Sunday so that monday it would be a reminder, as I didn't expect them to do a refund over the weekend. Then I sent another follow up yesterday asking if anything was going on. So far I've gotten only that 1 initial reply and nothing else. I'm likely stuck with this course since they don't seem to want to reply to me.

Figured I should leave a review. I'll try and hit up appsumo and see if they can do anything for me as I know they've helped with issues people have had in the past with sellers.

I realize that a statement like that could cause my AppSumo Plus status revoked. But, the reality is that even after finishing 1/3 of the course - if I don't 20X what would be the full price cost - kick me square in the ass.

Codie is a force of nature. She's a fast moving, quick thinking, mind-numbingly sharp business woman with a resume that would take most 80 years to accomplish.

Pragmatic tips, actionable information, and brilliant cohorts that she brings in to make sure I can't screw this newsletter thing up. The writing/content tips alone are worth the price of admission ($597).

This course is the perfect example of why I value my AppSumo membership and will never let it go!! If this course were tacos - I'd be fed for a year....
