This isn't an ATS, and it doesn't provide much in the way of interfaces or automation, but it's a reasonably good way to track employees and employee onboarding.

The product is quite good, a few annoying idiosyncrasies will have you jumping between departments, but all in all we are pleased with it. We are not please with the complete lack of customer service. Requests that are submitted are ignored or people respond with incorrect information a week later. Shame, as it has real potential.

They need to work on the integration - works with ICal but not Google calendar though you can link it and 24 hrs it might show. Appointments are in 24 hr time - and you cant change it to 12 hr. Drop downs sometimes cover the information you need to select from.

that being said, our the information areas are good, the price was great. We brought 5 codes and so we will be sticking with it. i hope customer service improves as they evolve.

I gave 3 rating because the UX and lack of customer service have cost us hours in chasing around and frustration. Cheers

Like all products and tech, people here have found things that need improving and things they would like to see, that are not yet or may never be available.

Perspective:
• HR systems are a really core part of any business.
• Getting all of the most important HR hotspot functions handled in one place is a huge time saver and risk reducer - and these guys are almost 100% on this.
• Handling Contractors AND Employees while keeping them seperates is a real bonus
• Having a flexible easy to use SELF SERVE portal that is not gratuious or feels like you are being *subjugated* by the company is both a huge time saver and enabler of good engagement. They have done a great job here.
• The Whitelabel and CNAME issues are real and important but in the end, this is for Contractors & Employees not customers, so if you are on the fence, consider necessary fit & function over nice-to-have. Even big companies use 3rd party HR and healthcare portals that are co-branded.
• BTW, the last Fortune 50 company I worked for had a much less employee frendly and accessible HR portal, AND it was co-branded - so what the heck, hey?!
• The allowed 500MB per code is light to be sure, so hopefully they will upsize this in time. Disk space is getting less expensive not more - so I am going to trust them on this one to do what is right.

I believe there is terrific value in this deal - and I see these guys are working hard on the right things and have their heads in the game in the right way on the truly crucial aspects of HR mgmt.

In my view this is a solid 5 taco winner. Hope you guys become the next SalesForce for HR. Good luck.

Glad to have this tool. Human Resource is one of the most important parts of any business and now with this tool I can finally have all in once place and improve my small business HR process in order to grow my business. You can not gro alone you need great people and systems.

Plan for Success ! Sooner of later you'll need this.

The price is steal considering their annual plan already cost 700.

If you're blogger and you hire writes, want to keep track of them , or temp staff , marketing, social assistance, this is the tool to keep track of them and call them back to work when needed.

Your staff in fact will be impressed with the provided platform and how much you know about them even after they left.

So excited to see HR partner come to Appsumo, as a long time and loyal Summoling, we definitely need more HR deals on this platform. I was expecting to see a huge amount of positive reviews, but seems many of my Summoling friends did not realize one day at any point in time, their freelancing or agency will grow and start involving more people, then everyone will need this HR platform for sure. Many people don't know it's more necessity than they realize it, once in operation, they will be like....Oh, I should have purchased HR Partner...... I run multiple businesses and have purchased lots of deals in the past. Currently, all of our companies and projects are on different HR platforms, each one of them has it's pro and con, after extensive test with HR partner, HR partner is equal or even better than all those big names....we can confidently recommend that HR Partner is a steal for any size of company owner. If you don't get it now, you will regret it later as many HR SaaS services usually cost quite a substantial money. HR partner has almost all major HR functions any organization will ever need or imagine, even recruiting functions, which usually is another set of SaaS products, but they integrate them into the same platform, thus saving a huge amount of money for any business owners. Customer support is amazing, and the Chief Devan and Fiona truly show how much they care about their clients and customer feedback, so we know how much the owner care about their business and it's a really good sign. What I like the most about HR Partner is Devan and Fiona claimed that they are using self-funding approach, thus we know that this is a company we can all count on in the future for sure as there is no VC or other financial institute can direct or influence the long term growth of HR Partner. Yes, it might grow slower, but at least the Owner can maintain its integrity or do not need to worry too much about the short term profits and then sacrifices the long term well being of HR Partner. Before, I really did not have too much time to sit down and write reviews, but this Covid-19 things really force us to sit down and re-exam many aspects of our businesses. Even though all of us are short in cash now as this Pandemic thing hit us, but we still purchased 20 codes and spread-ed them among different teams. I think all business owners or executives should get this deal now as it will save you a huge amount of money in the long term and I am highly recommending this deal and AppSumo platform to all of my friends! Lastly, we also hope Devan and Fiona will not forget us in the future success as we all have experienced that in other deals (I am veteran) that we are the first advocate of the company, but after a few LTD funding rounds, owners either abandoned the LTD clients or forget about us. Keep up the good work Devan and Fiona and we will be spreading the good words as the company grow!

Great software BUT !! It’s really bad that we can’t change the company domain once created. This must be changed as there can be a lot of us who may want to buy the deal and use it in real action at a later date but the deal doesn’t clearly mentions that we can’t change the company domain app.xxx.harpartner.io once set. Now I am stuck with this domain that I thought I’ll change it once I have redeemed the codes as I didn’t want to forget to redeem the codes.

Also I would like to know if there is a roadmap or a possibility to add payroll features or atleast a file that can hold data and be transferred to the accountant or an integration with xero.com or myob etc

Life's obstacles slowed my redemption but it's done! Even before that the team here was great at answering my questions. They are regularly updating users with tips - eg - how their software can be applied to handling the coronavirus breaks etc. Let's just say I'm very impressed and I hope they can continue to grow with us. I plan to recommend them to several new businesses.

I don't usually review apps but HR Partner more than deserves my time and review. The software is really solid and the team behind it very responsive. I've been using it intensively with my team of employees and contractors and the team has been squashing bugs and adding feature requests weekly.

What I like:

- Self-service Portal: Employees/Contractors are able to edit their profile, request/preview time-off, see the company directory and download/upload their personal (and company) files/attachments
- Admin area for all the items mentioned above are very solid
- Ability to add the company's news/articles and create checklists for the team to complete
- Recruitment area is exceptional and very organized. Ability to configure job templates, email templates, forms, anything
- Ability to allow candidates to electronically sign contracts and other documents

What we wanted to see/have:

- CNAME/branding removal: Unfortunately, they don't allow something like a jobs.company.com. Your jobs portal will have the URL company.hrpartner.io/jobs/. This is really sad, I hope they find a way to get us CNAME. HR Partner branding is also on the portal and on emails to candidates, but it's minimal so we can live with that.
- When hiring an applicant, they receive the "Onboarding Checklist" email before they're invited to join the Employee Self-Service portal (since the former is automated and the latter is a manual task). This is confusing to applicants as they should be invited to the portal first, and receive the onboarding checklist later. Apparently the team is already working on fixing it.
- You can't change the look & feel of the job portal apart from the main colour and logo position. Ideally, there would be a way to add your own CSS so you could get rid of round corners, change the font, etc.
- The email sent via HR Partner (to candidates, employees, etc) is very narrow. If you add an image with a width over 300px, it breaks the format, especially on mobile.
- Importing data is still a bit iffy, with some fields missing (although present in the platform) but the team is aware and will implement those at some point.
- Reports need exporting (CSV, XLS, PDF), right now it's just a screenshot in PNG of the chart
- Slack integration has been a hit or miss. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. And the bot doesn't understand some of the commands even though they're listed on the documentation

Overall, an amazing tool and I'm confident to move my team there and start recruiting using it. I'm sure the team is hearing the feedback and will continue improving the software. Well done, HR Partner!

I admit this might not be the sexiest deal you have seen. In fact, you might not even have seen such a lifetime deal before. And this is the exact reason why you should pick it up. I have been in the 'LTD space' for around 5 years, and it is very rare you see what I will call 'backbone / back office deals’. As soon as your business grow just a little, you will need a tool like 'HR Partner' and would have to pay a lot! While I can assure you, that you will continue to see a lot of 'Social media manager' and 'graphic' lifetime deals, I can't remember when I have seen a tool like 'HR Partner' in the LTD space. I strongly recommend you pick it up. Also because the product seems to have matured for years, with existing paying subscribers ( = the product seems to be able to generate revenue on an ongoing basis, and will stay in the market) and good support.
I btw. hope they will consider integrating with Clinked, another ‘backbone deal’ that will make HR-Partner even stronger.

We have a team of 15 VAs. This basically take care all our current HR problems with using different google docs and manual tracking! One thing I would like to see to happen is a more customizable payroll option: such as screenshot time monitoring, creating pay slip, calculating timesheet for HR manager. All in all, this is a good software for small business HR.

If you do any kind of hiring of VA's (virtual assistants) then this is an absolute MUST! Thank you for this offer and hope to support it as much as I can!

I am very impressed with HR Partner! They have many options available if you want to go in-depth. The options are pretty intuitive so you can set things up fast.

I will be using it even further to explore all the options in the next coming weeks.

i pretty only much buy offers that have a professional team behind them and a product that seems well planned and executed. while the software has been around a while i know saas is a new platform for it. while i haven't deep dived into all the features it seems to already be very feature rich with an excellent team behind it. keep up the good work guys!

I think it's a heck of a good deal. All other major HR softwares are expensive. But this one is a lifetime deal!

HR Partner is a great tool especially for startups and SMEs in dealing with HR Management. I had some challenges initially in the use of it, but it was eventually addressed and the support team members are very helpful. So far, I am greatly satisfied!
