Some months go by and this tool is now my Miro replacement
What is still missing: - does not work on Firefox :( - not as polish as Miro in some UX aspects but not the same price and same age!
I'm very happy to have bought this deal.

Hey Matuki,
Many thanks for the review and feedback. We are actually releasing UI/UX updates today/tomorrow, funnily enough, so hopefully, that will go a long way to plugging the UX gaps.
We've made many under-the-hood improvements lately, from usability, speed, and issues, and will continue to do so. New features will also be rolling out more frequently now.
One of the best improvements is that scrum teams are able to place emojis now. It might also be helpful if you are working with the young folks. It was possible before, but it is much easier now. The speed also improved!
Please continue with your work!

Hi Sumo-ling,
Many thanks for you your review and your acknowledgment of the improvements we've made.
Rest assured, we are constantly working hard to improve the user experience and add new and exciting features.
Faithful improvement - customer collaboration -ethical leadership stand out. As promised, the product team, led by CEO Mark Jaskula, has displayed a consistent and focused dedication to overhauling speed performance, which is by now far better that upon my purchase. And just for that I grant anew a well deserved 5 TACOS! It is so obvious they've invested time, people, resources. Wait, not only that, here's a number of "elevations" -my weird word choice- they've made available in the last few months due to the responsiveness ethics they continuously display: 1) I can see increased benefits that make this product a turbo multi-pronged strategic tool not only for collaboration and creativity but project management too. The Cards are an unexpected gain. 2) And in terms of customer communication they've developed a newsletter-based onboarding series to introduce users to features/purposes (colourful and on brand, of course); plus internal notifications and pointers. 3) Templates are now visible when hovering over "preview" and as Mark intended -from our back and forth witty exchange on providing more "why" and "what for" background info for choices- purpose definition is now alongside reference links and category tagging. 4) Icon design modernized and streamlined -a wealth of them. All in all, so much to gain from and be inspired by, for your intelligent communications, creations, and collaborations. The love for what they do is palpable and I bet they just happily perform to their best knowing they are surrounded by a bunch of peer enthusiasts :).

Hi ZERONoma,
Huge thanks for the updated review. I've enjoyed our exchanges, and your input on where we needed to improve, along with your suggestions.
It's people like yourself that makes the AppSumo experience so valuable by providing constructive feedback and dialog.
It's buggy, no embeds, no public links. The desktop app is slow. Those are things I expect from 'miro replacement'
I don't get why they pivoted towards conferences. We have zoom, google meet.

Hey Sumo-ling,
Regarding slowness, I agree that this needs to improve. This weekend, we have an update that, that in testing at least, massively improves certain areas such as board creation and opening and other areas, and it will only get faster. Once the board is open, we feel, in general, it performs well, let us know otherwise. If you are using a mac, then we have the creation of a universal...
It's a good software for basic users with less advanced requirements. But not yet there for advanced users.
I use a lot of "Rounded Corner Squares" & Mind Map with auto branching. I couldn't find either of them on this software, so it won't really work for me.
What's good? > Unlimited boards > No restrictions like some other apps > Unlimited designs > Collaboration features (Team) > Presentation features > And a lot more...
What's not good yet? > Still buggy > Doesn't feel like a finished polished product yet (Hopefully it reaches there soon) > Lacks some basic design blocks

Hey shiraziscool,
Thanks for the feedback.
"Rounded corner squares" are supported; check out https://huddleiq.com/help-en/shapes/#toolbar where we support border-radius, size, opacity, and color. We have a couple of mind map templates, and while you can create mind maps, it does not have features like auto-branching. This is firmly on our roadmap to implementing mindmap functionality with all...
