It's rare for an AI solution to impress me enough to write a review but Humata has done just that with great answer quality based on my data.
After I conducted a test by doing a data dump of my files from my consulting practice and posed a range of questions (ranging from broad concepts to specific regulatory questions) I got answers that were extremely detailed and relevant for my research.
Here are my thoughts:

1. Humata's intelligence is noteworthy; it provided comprehensive and accurate answers to all my inquiries. The highly granular references assisted me a lot with search and verification of facts.
2. What I found that really stands out is how Humata supports its responses with citations from multiple source documents. So that really enhances its credibility and allows me to do fact-checking when composing drafts.
3. It operates at remarkable speed and was able to handle everything from large document uploads to chatbot responses.
4. The CEO and executive team demonstrate a clear commitment to continuous improvement and fast communication, which is always a good sign.

Does Humata fit easily into my top 10 AI solutions of all time? 100%. If it offered unlimited chats during this campaign I would've seized the opportunity without hesitation. If Humata returns to the market, consider this review your cue to invest in it.

I love this product!
I was looking for a tool to search all my documents, including books, manuals, laws, rules, and regulations that I upload. I tried using NotebookLM, but its major drawback is that it transcribes the original source instead of showing it in its original form.
Humata has everything I need:
- It displays the original format of the source directly on the document.
- It supports team use.
- You can publish or embed the page.
- It manages user permissions.
I'm recommending this tool to all my friends and acquaintances. I hope it continues to improve and evolve over time. A zoom feature for the original PDF would be useful, as well as a copy-and-paste function from both Humata's responses and the original document.

Humata makes it easy for me to transform my files into a customer-facing chatbot. I've many so far and highly recommend it. I've been using Humata for a while so I was excited to see it on AppSumo! My favorite part is the UI. The highlighted sources all in one place makes research and fact-checking a breeze, especially from people using my custom chatbots.

1. It was very easy to upload my files and create my own custom chatbot in minutes with my files. Just a few clicks and it’s ready to go. I can recommend this to my friends because you don't need any technical skills to get started which is pretty cool.

2. I've been trying out a lot of different tools and Humata's ability to get razor-sharp references in files like technical documents is spot on and one of the best features for fast research out there.

3. One of the cool new features I noticed is how I can invite teammates to collaborate and use role-based permissions for different folders or just share a link for people to collaborate with. It’s great for group projects or when everyone needs to access the same information.

I had high hopes for this software. I was disappointed and returned tier 4. It's simply not up to standard, buggy and barely functional. I am unsure how it has users, everything seemed to be broken and not fit for release. There are much better tools. Hard miss here.

I reviewed their terms of service and there are huge red flags which appear to give them a perpetual commercial interest in anything I upload. This includes giving them the ability to create derivative works. I asked them to clarify and there was no response. Very troubling.

Additionally, the search results and insights were very limited and the system would not expand on results. Using attachments just through ChatGPT and Claude proved to be much more valuable. A big disappointment all around.
