Loving it's simplicity - Truly

Some of the greatest tools I've continued to use regularly for business have one crucial feature.... it's usually simple to use, easy to implement and get things done. And after trying out Ideanote for a couple of days, it definitely falls under this category.

So I've been capturing ideas on a Mindmapping tool for the past decade. It works fine. However, they keep upgrading and we're forced to pay for upgrades if we want to use the new features. Over time, it's getting more resource-heavy and taking longer to load on my PC. And many times, I wished I can capture an idea the moment I have it, but that's not possible with my previous tool as I need to load it on my desktop to do so.

Ideanote makes it easy for me to capture all my ideas the instance I have floating in my head. And I can be anywhere as long as I have a browser to do so. (Even installed it as a browser shortcut on my home screen). The fact that it's now even possible to invite my people with a link to hop in and contribute ideas without having to install or pay for additional copies makes it sweet.

I like the user interface. It's really easy to navigate around and many of the options are pretty self-explanatory. There's really not much of a learning curve for someone to kickstart using the app and start populating ideas that will evolve over time.

There are apps here that I have purchased but after one visit, choose to leave it for another day when time is a luxury to understand it's functionality and tons of features that I probably won't use. And then there is Ideanote.... something I invested in and put it straight to use right away. :)

Though I have not personally contacted support for anything (it's that easy inside), reading the FAQs here have assured me that the app is supported by an amazing team and more features and functionality will be coming from them in the months and years to come.

Definitely one of the best investment for anyone who needs to constantly capture new ideas and nurture it before its executed.

A nice to have:
Sometimes an idea can pop up when it's not convenient for us to type. For me, it's when I'm jogging. Epiphanies happen regularly when I'm alone in my zone jogging. The current workaround requires me to record audio on a phone recorder, then attach it later on to an idea as a post attachment.

It would be a dream come true if one day, we could simply tap a button and have an audio version of the idea recorded before it's gone with the wind.

All in all, one essential investment for any business. Whether you're a one-man operation, a small team or an enterprise, get it as it's lowest ever price. It's simple to use, and easy to implement right away. Definitely not an app you'll leave on the shelf for collecting dust.
