No more buying half a dozen notebooks every two weeks!
I think I'm going to save a forest of trees and put a notebook company out of business with this Appsumo deal.
Being the complete opposite of Dr. Henry Jones (the guy had a lifetime of notes in ONE small notebook) as I'm surrounded by dozens of 5 subject binders. Ideanote is a godsend.
I literally, due to the 'magic' of ADHD, have to compartmentalize every idea that pops into my cranium and over the years I've tried post-it notes, colored stickies on pages, different colored notebooks, you name it.
Bounced between Evernote, Onenote, Trello, and the formatting of all of those, while great, leads me to have a MASSIVE amount of digital notebooks, chapters, pages that all just tend to be wandering off in their own directions... 'frustrating' is putting it mildly. It makes my job 10x harder and that's been standard SOP for years.
So I thought I'd give Ideanote a whirl and I'm just knocked out by the whole concept/execution of it.
The connective of ideas process, as well as the visual aspects are EXACTLY what I've been looking for. Now granted I'm thinking of this from a perspective of a one-man-band-getting-my-ideas-in-actionable-order foundation with the goal of 'jumping-off' into collecting ideas from teams/guests (so consider that).
But the one thing I can tell you that I feel just scratching the surface with this is...relief. I always feel a bit of anxiety when I have to dive into my digital notes, notebooks, scraps of paper, voice-notes, when I'm putting things together for a project/post/digital content etc.
Final cherry on top is how much these guys seem to care and love feedback. I get that just from seeing the responses to questions as well as the videos I've watched and the roadmap looks great!
Looking forward to finally crawling out from behind my 'notebook castle' here on my desk and getting more done with less agita. I'm stoked to see how far I can go.
