The refund of my purchase was made as soon as possible by Appsumo Plus following the shutdown and the sale. In addition I had purchased from illow a complement for unlimited sites and they completely refunded this purchase by transfer. I can only congratulate both

I was outside the 1 year guarantee, but they still refunded me stating "Our team has worked closely with the illow team and we are able to offer all purchasers a full refund in AppSumo credits - even though this tool is outside of our standard We Got Your Back guarantee. This is thanks to illow’s support and cooperation throughout this process!"
I've lost several programs that I really need recently due to closures. All that work to learn the software, all for nothing. The fact that I'm now losing Illow because it was sold shows me that buying a product from AppSumo is unfortunately more of a gamble. The money back doesn't do me much good. I tested the product, gave feedback and now we are simply being dropped. I also take a critical legal view of the fact that licenses can be terminated just like that. I bought Malwarebytes many years ago as a lifetime deal. THIS IS LIFETIME AS I UNDERSTAND IT. If the company doesn't make it, ok, that's a risk I took. But losing a piece of software because it was sold makes me feel really bad about all the other deals. Will that happen to me too? Nothing is certain. I'm drawing my conclusions from this and will be trying out considerably less at AppSumo. Illow was an important program for me, for which I now have no replacement. That was a real shock for me. I can't really rely on the word lifetime license. Oxolo gone because they had a policy change, Sessions bumbling along, Speechki, HypermediaLab, then there are companies constantly inventing new Elite, Superelite and Megaelite plans to exclude us from the innovations. I'm honestly frustrated and shocked at how many deals have become worthless or worthless in such a short period of time. I also can't forget Fliki, all the Fliki updates were simply lies and I as a buyer was not protected by AppSumo. I have bought many thousands of dollars worth of products in the last 2 years. Many of us are entrepreneurs who have to work hard for a living. Dear AppSumo team, please be more serious. I am from Germany and trust and reliability is the most important business basis and not exaggerated advertising and mega profit maximization.

Will Appsumo refund...and/or can they source an alternative deal
In the UK, if a company is sold, it's liabilities and contracts remain with the company...could there be a legal case/class action here?
Hopefully AppSumo can help find an alternative for the large number of their disappointed customers?
