4. to add on point 3 with mcp connection if you're able to create ai imagery can we create ai imagery through the mcp tool that we've connected or not and if not, can the MCP tool just create variations of a template that you create?

1. Is it similar to Robolly, and can it create blog featured images?
Yes, we share the same core idea: design once, then automatically generate images with different content. In ImageDino’s visual editor, you create a branded template and choose which elements change—such as the article title, photo, author, or category.
You can connect WordPress or another blogging platform to our API, for example through Make or n8n, to generate a featured image as part of your publishing workflow. That connection handles sending the article details to Dino and adding the finished image to your post.
2. Is creating template variations its only functionality?
Templates are the foundation, but the value is what you can automate with them. You get a visual editor to build your designs, plus an API, Dynamic URLs, and MCP to generate personalized images from your content.
For a blog, that could mean featured images, Pinterest pins, Facebook graphics, and personalized email visuals featuring a subscriber’s name or a recommended article—all without manually editing every image.
3. Can ImageDino create AI imagery? Which AI model does it use?
ImageDino doesn’t currently include a built-in AI image generator, so there isn’t a specific image-generation model bundled with it. You can create artwork in your preferred AI chat, then use it in your ImageDino templates — for example, through our MCP connection.
It’s a useful combination: your AI tool creates the artwork, and Dino adds consistent branding, precise layouts, and dynamic text to turn it into ready-to-use marketing images.
4. How does that work with MCP?
Through ImageDino’s MCP connection, your AI assistant can discover your published templates and generate variations by changing text, images, colors, and other supported properties. If your AI workflow also includes image generation, you can use that artwork as the image input for a Dino template.
Today, MCP works with designs you’ve already created and published. We’re working on expanded MCP capabilities intended to let your assistant create designs too—that’s a future capability. MCP is available on AppSumo Tier 2 and above.
5. Can it generate different sizes for different platforms?
Absolutely—you’re not limited to one size. You can prepare a Pinterest template at 1000 × 1500, a square Facebook template at 1080 × 1080, and a blog cover at your preferred dimensions, then generate each using the same article content.
Currently, you prepare each layout as a separate template. Frames within a single design are coming soon, which will make managing and generating multiple sizes even easier.

awesome thank you for responding to all my questions. my use case was two features blog feature images + ai image generation in your platform would of been nice if you had your own ai image generator vs us having to connect a seperate tool then would make your tool better than alternatives that dont have ai image generation as a feature :)
