Indy is highly praised for its efficient proposal and contract management, intuitive interface, and extensive capabilities for invoicing and payment tracking. However, some users have expressed dissatisfaction with the slow support response times and have requested additional customization options. With a 60-day money-back guarantee, Indy is a reliable choice for individuals seeking a comprehensive client management solution.

Wasted Potential
I like Indy's approach to solving problems for freelancers and small businesses that need a simple way to manage contracts, payments, and customers. However, the lack of communication and replying to feedback tells me that this is the end of the road. For example, the latest post in the changelog is from over a year ago.
If you visit the feature requests page, you will notice that there are a lot of customers "talking to each other" with no answers from the company. Customers are asking for features, but nobody from the company is replying or even checking this board.
I created an account a while ago, and I still cannot complete my profile on the app because the location field is required, and this field cannot be completed. So, as soon as you type your city, state, country, and move to the next field, the field is deleted. That bug has been present in the profile page for more than four months. https://indy.canny.io/feature-requests/p/unable-to-write-city-state-and-country
Another thing with the application is that most of the templates are not suited for professional settings. There is a lot of "me" and "I" in proposals, for instance, and the language is very relaxed. This might be OK for a freelancer doing proposals for some friends. But for a small company or a professional, it is not adequate.
I hope they fix the issues, but for now this is shelfware because I cannot move all the operations of my small company to a system that ignores feedback, does not provide new updates, and is still so buggy.

One of The Worst
Well, I have seen much SaaS ,brought many but Andy winning the worest support prize, my experience was as follow:
Weeks with ZERO replies
Weeks with ZERO support
All you will get is a reply from Gabriella, she will ask you - with a canned message - to make a short video to describe the issue.
Then, again she will ask for a video, while she forgot that you already sent it , you will describe your issue again, she apologized and the same cycle continues.
However, the founder Sebastian Gyr had developed a GREAT software that is nearly perfect, I would keep it for a promise made to enhance support, I would give it 10 Tacose IF there is support, try to multiple any number by zero, you'll get zero, and even a great SaaS with zero support equals Zero.
If you're a developer who can manage it by yourself get it.

Its an awesome app but......
Indy has been a really useful app with a clean interface and smart features that made invoicing, contracts, and project management much easier for my small business. The core product is solid and I’ve enjoyed using it.
That said, I’m increasingly concerned. The app hasn’t received meaningful updates in months and their public roadmap hasn’t changed since last year; a big contrast to the frequent updates they used to push. Other users are reporting the same worry: it feels like development activity has slowed to a halt.
Support response times are another problem. Requests can take a very long time to get answers, and sometimes there’s no response at all. Between the silent roadmap and slow/no support, it gives the impression the project may have been deprioritized while the company continues collecting subscription revenue.
I hope that’s not the case; Indy is a great product and I’d love to see it actively maintained again.

Solid proposal and invoice
I am quite happy with this; it is close to FreshBooks, needs work, but it is getting there. I have tried other invoicing and proposal software, and I am the happiest with this one. This deal is solid, and once you figure out the works and they fix a few issues, it will be world-class.

Great start for agency workflows, looking forward to more features
Hi,
I invested in Indy to manage several of my companies, get a better overview, and improve follow-up with clients. After testing it, I can already see how it improves my processes across different clients, and the potential of this product is clear and helpful.
What I’d love to see next is support for better text editing, more document types beyond contracts and proposals, for example, customisable report templates for SEO, marketing, and other client deliverables. An improved project/task management system with features like Kanban boards would also make a big difference for agency use with notifications to my email and dashboard.
Kindly,
Marcus
Overall, Indy is a solid tool with a strong foundation, and I’m hopeful the team will continue building it into a more powerful all-in-one client management platform.
