Q: Hi.
Today I'm going to be THAT GIRL.
I was one of the "lucky" ones to grab InfluencerSoft at a previous deal. YAY.
However, I've had SO MUCH trouble with it that I gave up. Support was incredibly slow, took multiple tries to even get a point across (even when I included screenshots and videos), and eventually when you screwed up a big promotion (more on this coming up), I just STOPPED using InfluencerSoft (and it took days to even get someone to really reply with any interest in solving the issue).
So, here goes:
1. Do you still only accept videos from Vimeo and YouTube?
2. Still only the original account user can add the custom fields, and not team admins.
3. Email footers, even for transactional emails MUST still have an unsubscribe (which is REALLY misleading on invoices, where no one is subscribed)?
4. Lessons still not dripable, and the messages that go out are not able to be specifically scheduled?
5. Images in the email still cannot be set to be a specific size, or to create multiple images in a row of the same size?
6. Even with a custom domain, your system still sends people to the XXX.influencersoft.com domain for things like captcha?
7. List join confirmation subject lines still not correct? (No one got back to me.)
8. Does using PayPal on influencerSoft allow us to use the new checkout with Venmo option? (Lyle got back to me and said he had no answer.)
9. Still is no way to allow someone to pay offline?
10. Customers were paying PayPal, are their invoices still marked as “expected,” instead of paid? (No one got back to me.)
11. My customers were randomly getting a 404 when they tried to pay (in the MIDDLE of a HUGE sales push for an event), and Dixon forwarded it to the team a day later (I had already had to shut down payments through InfluencerSoft), and it wasn’t until THREE DAYS LATER that any information was requested. Sales were going to 404s, and it took 3 days to even get someone interested in helping. Have you upgraded to 24/7 customer service, to take less that three days to helps someone who is having a PAYMENT problem?
So, I guess what I'm asking in addition to actual answers on these things is:
12. Are you actually interested in SERVING people who need support and products that work, or are you just growing and marketing as fast as you can?
Because it really seemed like you are a good deal, but after spending so many hours getting things set up, and having to shut it down because of lack of support and function, it doesn't seem like a good deal anymore.

May 15, 2024A: Hi Nookie,
Thanks for your questions, I think you'll find we've grown a lot since you've last used the software!
To answer your last question first - YES! We are here and happy to support our customers! Since InfluencerSoft's initial launch we have worked very hard to help support and serve our users - we've hired more support staff, have an active Facebook group where users can ask questions, have developed a whole new division of service called Rapid Implementation, and offer as much active support and help as we can on an ongoing and ever-growing basis.
I hope these answers to your other questions help...
1. Do you still only accept videos from Vimeo and YouTube? - No, you can embed the code into your webpage for any video server that has that option - YouTube, Vimeo and Wistia are just the most popular options that people use.
2. Still only the original account user can add the custom fields, and not team admins. - The User function does have some limitations that only admins can change, and that's for security reasons. If an account owner wants their VA or Admin to have full access, they usually just let them log in with their username and password, thus giving them full access to all functionalities.
3. Email footers, even for transactional emails MUST still have an unsubscribe? - All emails must have an unsubscribe link per law: the US’s CAN-SPAM legislation, enforced by the Federal Trade Commission, states clearly that you must include a clearly obvious way for subscribers to opt out of your commercial messages.
4. Lessons still not dripable, and the messages that go out are not able to be specifically scheduled? YES! You can drip and schedule lesson content for specific dates!
5. Images in the email still cannot be set to be a specific size, or to create multiple images in a row of the same size? - You can set images to any size you want.
6. Even with a custom domain, your system still sends people to the XXX.influencersoft.com domain for things like captcha? - No, you can use the domain you want.
7. List join confirmation subject lines still not correct? - You can change the subject line and anything you want in the confirmation or any email, including who the email is from.
8. Does using PayPal on influencerSoft allow us to use the new checkout with Venmo option? - You can use PayPal with InfluencerSoft, but I’m not sure about the Venmo option, I haven’t tried it myself yet.
9. Still is no way to allow someone to pay offline? - Sorry about that, but you could just include instructions on the payment page for where to send a check or money order if they can’t pay online
10. Customers were paying PayPal, are their invoices still marked as “expected,” instead of paid? - I don’t think this is a current issue, I have never heard anyone mention it.
11. My customers were randomly getting a 404 when they tried to pay. - This has been fixed by the developers.
