I'm considering the AppSumo deal and would like some clarification on how the AppSumo tiers fit into the long-term roadmap.
The website currently offers Creator and Premium subscription plans, while the AppSumo tiers provide different chapter limits and feature allocations. As the platform evolves, how should AppSumo customers view their tiers relative to future subscription plans?
Will Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 customers be grandfathered into future improvements that align with their purchased tier, or should we expect certain new features to be reserved for subscription customers only?
I'm mainly trying to understand the long-term value proposition of each AppSumo tier and how they will be treated as the platform grows. Please be as detailed as possible cause i dont like surprises

Your tier is lifetime and locked, whatever you buy (Tier 1, 2 or 3) stays yours at that price with no recurring fee. As we keep improving the features in your tier (writing quality, exports, covers, the editor), those upgrades land in your account automatically at no extra cost.
If we ever add a genuinely new capability with a real per-use cost, it might be an optional add-on, but that's the exception, and we're not in the business of quietly paywalling things you already have. The plan is simple: your tier keeps getting better over time.
