Customers appreciate InPrivy - Secure and Easy Sharing for its simplicity, secure sharing, and customizable branding. The ability to set expiration dates and receive notifications on shared links is a big hit. Some users have pointed out the need for clearer instructions on certain features and the absence of a specific reverse sharing feature. However, with an overall rating of 4.9 and a 60-day money-back guarantee, it's definitely worth a try for those seeking a secure sharing solution.

Great Tool

Sharing is great, and I like that I can create a workspace to separate business from personal use. It would also be great if we could attach a custom domain to each workspace.

However, there seems to be one missing feature.

I can share private documents and files with clients, but from my testing, there is no way to do this in reverse. For example, I would like to create a link where a client can attach their files for me while keeping them private, but it does not seem to work. I created two secrets, shared a link, opened it, and it did not show any option to attach files. It is great that I can transfer files to clients, but the other way around is also important. I wish this feature existed, or if it does, I wish it was clearer how it actually works because the single video tutorial on the landing page does not help or explain how to receive files.

-----------------------------
Update: @andreas can you share an article or video on how to do this? Its not obvious and I couldnt find this in the app or an explanation on how to receive files...

Hi there,

Thanks for taking the time to write this review. :)

We do offer a "Public Sharing URL". You can create (and re-generate) this in the "Domain" settings and share the URL with your clients. They can then create secrets for you (text and files) and those secrets will appear in your InPrivy Inbox.

Enable and manage here: https://cloud.ivymayhem.io/JF10GTRS

Fantastic white label password sharing tool

As an IT service provider, this is a no brainer to share passwords and add credibility to your business.

This is a no-brainer. Just Buy It.

Bought this yesterday, got the branding and CNAME set up, and used with a customer today who asked me for one of their passwords.

Too many people just ask for or send passwords to very sensitive systems like Email, Website Admin, Domain Registrar, etc. over text or email. This is such an incredibly bad idea.

Having a very affordable solution to protect my clients sensitive information and present a more professional process is great.

And, to solve this problem for $39 is in the Shut Up and Just Take My Money category. Thanks for putting this tool on AppSumo.

Super simple app that addresses a frequent concern

Just bought and have only tested functionality sending secrets to myself. But this is far more professional that sharing passwords or other secrets in WhatsApp and of course much more secure than email. The problem I always have is a recipients ability to deal with any more secure solutions I put in place - and the overhead/friction it adds to clients (or friends). InPrivy removes all of this, and provides a decent audit trail so you can see whether secrets have been viewed etc. Nice that you can add your own branding and customise messages etc.

I also love that you can upload and share documents. I run a small agency and one thing I'm considering is using In Privy as somewhere to store emergency instructions for my clients (i.e. how to access / recover their sites if I'm incapacitated). This would only be a fall-back - and I may decide it's too much of an overhead to maintain. But worth thinking about.

Bottom line, I was impressed enough with the simplicity and perceived value of InPrivy that I've taken time to write a review. It also seems like great value for money.

Intuitive, great support

Very intuitive to use and reliable features. My first choice for confidential information for several weeks now. Today's support experience for a second AppSumo code (my own mistake when redeeming) was unique. Despite it being Friday evening and already the weekend, I received a response and solution within minutes.
