Nothing here. Insignal.co is online, but app.insignal.co is dead. They do still try to get customers, at least that's what it looks like on their website, but no option to log in, and I have never heard from them since I tried to figure out whether or not I can still use the platform.
Q: AppSumo has changed.
The quality of deals is so polluted now with too much and everything is too hard to find and there are way too many offers ending up like this when it almost never happened before. Once they changed, I barely purchased anything. I used to buy a deal once a week and stack it if needed. I have 30+ pages of products that I bought over the years and now many of them don't work anymore.
I have had no time to test Insignal prior to the Sold Out... Now I have tested it and I would like to EXPAND. my deal... How can I do.... PLEASEEEE PULKIT.... Help!!!!
We are super glad that you are loving the product and would be happy to expand your deal. Kindly let us know your email address or drop us a mail at hello@insignal.co and we will love to get you on a higher plan :)
Would you also be so kind as to answer emails about the current state of InSignal please? It was very useful, but it doesn't work anymore as we can't log in to our dashboards anymore.
Thank you.
Q: We bought this a while back but we get timeouts loading the js script & even logging into the website.
Same issues here, and same question. They are totally incommunicado right now. I have sent emails to all email accounts I know of, but nothing, just crickets.
Q: If I want to track the domain with it's subdomain, is it possible?
Is the landing page using the same hosting where the main website is? If yes, then yes that can be done. (Reach out to us on hello@insignal.co and one of the team members will help you through it in no time.) But if it is hosted elsewhere, you will have to added it as a second website.
It is possible to add a sub-domain (Only if both the websites are located in the same server) but we don't recommend it because there is no way to find out what data came out of what then and it will all get mixed up with the main domain.
What we suggest is to simply add a sub-domain as a website and paste the new tracking code since that will keep all the data & analytics separated or else it will become very difficult to see the page views or visitors of a particular domain.
Thank you for sharing the concern. Would love to explain the deal a bit.
The main difference between 10 codes and 1 code is the number of recordings and pageviews. For example, I am a person who has 1 website with more than 600k page views per month and requires more than 8000 recordings, then I can simply upgrade to 10 codes as it offers more of the same.
So, the extra websites are kind of a bonus for the Sumo-lings and not a differentiator. We are also pushing an option to switch on/off recordings for each website so that users can do sampling for each website because after analyzing more than 100 million recordings, we have found out that an average user plays back the maximum of 1200 recordings a month no matter if there is 44,000 recording showing up.
I hope I was able to answer your question and make things more clear :)
It doesn't make any sense at all that one code gives three websites, with two codes gives five. The unit price on a website is thus higher if you buy more codes?
I get that you then give 100K extra impressions, but if you are not in that league, it does not make sense to buy more codes.
You thus get more value by creating two accounts with you redeeming a code on each account.
2 codes are the best for those who require more recordings for their website. So in case you are adding 1 website but your requirements are of more than 8000 recordings, you can simply opt for 2 codes and get 12000 which you won't be able to do with 2 x 1 codes as you cannot add a website twice. Same with the page views.
The extra websites are just a bonus as the majority of our users have 1 website to focus on. In the case of multiple websites, we recommend going with the 4 codes and above plan.
Also, we are going to push new things very soon (https://roadmap.insignal.co) and the people on higher codes will be getting more value of those and the future updates too.
thanks for your answe. 1. does tha mean that if i have 1 website and i buy 2 codes i can have all that being used on my 1 website? so you're counting it on the account level, regardless of how many websites i have? 2. what new things will be added only to those who bought more than 1 code? how many codes we will need for them? i think that's pretty important for us to know. and also when they are coming.
thanks for your answer. 1. does that mean that if i have 1 website and i buy 2 codes i can have all that used on my 1 website? so you're counting it on the account level, regardless of how many websites i have? 2. what new things will be added only to those who bought more than 1 code? how many codes we will need for them? i think that's pretty important for us to know. and also when they are coming.
to make my above question 1 clearer: if i have 1 code, "600,000 Pageviews per month per website", but one website - do i get still 600,000 in total or 1,800,00 in total? also note that ArvinAliari used impressions in hos question and you answered with recordings. it might matter as in the deal description impressions are stated as per website, and recordings do not state that. so please clarify if you can.
The recordings are counted on an account basis. Pageviews are set per website per month. Regarding the new features; you can know more about them on our roadmap (https://roadmap.insignal.co)
Every Sumo-ling will get those features irrespective of the code you are on. It's just that the limits will be decided accordingly when those features go live.
This what I said, same thing... no sense in this deal
Q: It says "Unlimited team members" as a feature.
If we run an agency and have clients how would this work? If we added a client website we would want to be able to give them access to just their site recordings/information and nothing else. Can you please clarify what is possible in this respect?
Thank you for checking out Insignal. So team members are divided into two parts: 1) Teams 2) Members
To give access to a client, you can simply create a team say "Client 1" and give that team access to 1 particular website which in this case will be the client's website. Now once that is done, you can add members under that team and those members will only be able to access the website that the team has been assigned to.
I hope this answers the question. Looking forward to having you onboard with us :)
We have this feature called timeline which describes what the user did on the page and on which page they left. This is per user basis and not an average or funnel.
Q: Is my use case acceptable, I will only really need maybe the 1 or 2 stacks, as I look to develop and launch a ...
website, I add it here monitor the data and change it to the next one which means I could be switching the websites out 2 or 3 times a month maybe more as I only need a few days data?
Yes, that is very much acceptable. You can add/remove website whenever you feel like :) P.S - When removing the website, the data is removed too so keep an eye for that.
I am getting a Cloudflare page. When looking at the console in chrome, there are about 50 CORS errors for insignal. Just started for me about an hour ago. FYI

Q: hi!
about heatmaps : 1. is the max page length that you show in the heatmap? what is it? 2. do you show scroll, click and move? 3. do you show data by device type (mobile, tab, computer...)?
and i see some people here say your service made their website much slower. what are you planning to do about such a critical issue (if it is true , of course)?
1. is the max page length that you show in the heatmap? what is it?
A- There is no max page length. Though if you have a lazy load enabled on your website, we recommend to turn it off before creating a heatmap so that we can take a proper screenshot.
2. do you show scroll, click and move?
A- Right now the only heatmap we provide is a click heatmap. We are working to introduce scroll and move in the coming days so yes, that is on the roadmap and will be coming.
3. do you show data by device type (mobile, tab, computer...)?
A- Yes. You can see the data is divided into three categories for the heatmap: Computer, Tablet & Mobile.
Regarding the script making the website slower; I am happy to let you know that our script loads once the whole website is done loading. Since it is a continuous capture script so there is no finish time for it so that we can capture each and every event. There will be a slight increase in a load of course since every small detail is being captured but it won't affect the real-world performance since it is being loaded once everything else is done.
We have worked heavily on our infrastructure to reduce loading time even further and a lot of improvements are being made in the backend.
In most of the cases where people are reported of the website getting slow, the script has been performing well below the industry recommend time and it's mostly the uncompressed images which were slowing the website down which was pointed out by our support team to the website owners.
Don't worry, simply drop us a mail on hello@insignal.co with your website URL and our customer support will check and let you know for the same :) We are here to help always!
Q: Are there any guides or help docs for how Insignal should be set up?
I'm coming from Hotjar, but I'm no heatmap expert either way.
Wondering if I should I be making a heat map for each important page? Or is there a way to just have it track every page on a domain?
Also if I add for example: website.com/marketplace will it track or record all the product pages inside an ecommerce store? Or should I be adding individual pages?
Would be nice to have unlimited (or at least more domains) per code available to add, but it just uses up more of the pageviews. - I have more than 3 websites + all our little funnels, but we'll never surpass or even get close to using 8k recordings & 600,000 hits a month for a long time.
We have our documentation here: https://help.insignal.co/faq/
We are adding more of those on a daily basis and in case there is something you are not able to find, you can reach out to us anytime on hello@insignal and we will guide you on every step :)
Regarding heatmaps, you will have to create a heatmap for each page you want to collect the data since we don't do that for every page by default. Simply create a heatmap from the heatmap section in Insignal dashboard and it will instantly start capturing data for the page mentioned.

Once you add website.com/marketplace, please ensure to paste the script on every page within you want to track. In the case of Shopify/wordpress, you can simply follow the guides in the documentation on how to enable it on every page.

Q: Hi, I hope you can tell me I'm misunderstanding the numbers as I am looking at buying multiple codes but the ...
recordings part does not make any sense:
1 code:
8,000 recordings for 3 websites = 2,000 recordings per month/per website
10 codes:
44,000 recordings for 80 websites = only 550 recordings per month/per webiste
550p/m is a deal killer if you ask me, but please let me know if (hopefully That) I am misunderstanding those numbers.
