Disappointed with Internxt: Broken Promises and Lackluster Support
I had high hopes for Internxt and their promises of lifetime accounts, but my experience with the company has been nothing short of a disappointment. From broken commitments to nonexistent support, I found myself questioning their integrity and regretting my decision to invest in their services.
First and foremost, Internxt's failure to fulfill its promise of lifetime accounts is deeply concerning. When I initially signed up, I was enticed by the idea of having secure storage for life. However, it quickly became apparent that this was nothing more than a marketing gimmick. Internxt abruptly deleted and revoked the lifetime account privileges.
Moreover, the support provided by Internxt was abysmal, to say the least. When faced with issues or inquiries, I reached out to their support team in hopes of finding a resolution. However, my experience can only be described as a futile attempt at getting any assistance.
Regrettably, Internxt's actions and lack of accountability have tarnished its reputation. It is disheartening to see a company resort to deceptive tactics, failing to honor their promises and leaving their customers disillusioned. In an era where trust and transparency are crucial, Internxt has fallen short.
I strongly advise anyone considering Internxt's services to approach with caution. The broken promises and lackluster support indicate a lack of professionalism and integrity within the company. I believe that AppSumo should take greater responsibility in conducting comprehensive background checks on the companies they promote. Customers rely on AppSumo's vetting process to ensure that they are investing in reliable products and services. By not thoroughly examining the companies they feature, AppSumo risks damaging its own reputation and disappointing its loyal customer base.
The deal is great, but the service and product is needing a great deal of work.
One of the biggest reasons i purchased this was because of the vision. Its a great vision one in which we are all part of community taking back our privacy.
I like the idea of getting access to MAIL, and photo storage tools as part of this deal, but just don't believe that it will happen. I really want to like it but at this point have enough concern that i can't justify the risk of holding on to this deal.
What are my concerns? 1. The onboarding process took 5 weeks to be completed. My sign up got interupted by a big fat DNS BLOCKED notice at the library i was using, and because of this it became a long battle with support, waiting a long time for a response. Understandable with holidays and appsumo intake, no big deal. 2. There appears to be NO option of adding other users to the tool, even though in the deal it specifies being able to add 100... 3. Other 1 Star rating mention LOSING DATA, i immediately CAN'T trust this service with my precious data if this is the case. 4. Support Channels and News are SPAMMED full of Internxt coin news and notifications, which though aligned seems to distract from the communication around the tools they are developing. 5. Super UNDETAILED update notifications, just saying they have updated and now its better and "Meets all your needs..." nope still doesn't 6. Very slow development progress, apparently this company has been around since 2018? 7. Continual lifetime deals and email marketing spam for deal upgrades... Concerning that they are funding their business with soo many lifetime deals, feels like they are pumping up their user base and service commitments without a great deal of progress, this is a recipe for burn out.
I REALLY wanted to love this deal, but i am just getting too many red flags right now :(
It seemed like a great offer, but right now i would say be aware of this deal when you bought keys.
I bought 1 key here on appsumo and one upgrade offer through their own mail offer. I have received the features regarding to the Appsumo deal, but it's been at least one week now and i haven't heard anything back about my € 199,- 'upgrade' deal. I did of course log out and in to make sure the account would be updated.
I get no responds back from mail support (except for one mail). Apparently there was chat support, but that is unavailable also (chatbox is only linking to their FAQ).
I did more research and it seems like there is a lot more going on. They are working on these functions since 3 years. So don't expect new features anytime soon. They also do something with bitcoin and got a bad reputation in that (even listed as scam).
I needed to share a file which gave me an internal error. I did ask this and did get a message back at the time. They just don't allow to share links over 1GB. They should have mentioned this. I can see why they do this, but for normal use (sharing something that can be downloaded once or twice in this case files i recovered from bad HDD's) should be possible. Considering they are making something like Internxt Send you would expect similar functions.
The uploading is slow and app and Windows software is far from complete. You don't see the speeds and you can't see what is shared.
I also read several posts from ppl who actually lost part/all of their data at Internxt. They said this happened they the data is stored. With privacy and decentralization my question would be what happens when some parts are not available anymore and is there is even a backup retention in place.
Hopefully someone from Internxt can respond and set this straight. To start with why most people didn't get a responds (not counting the holidays).
