I built Is It Disposable because I wanted a check I trusted in front of my own signup form. Most tools either probe a mailbox directly, which is slow and unwelcome, or lean on a static list of known throwaway domains, which goes stale as fast as new ones appear. I wanted one fast lookup based on mail server records and a dataset we keep current every day, with no probing and no guessing. That is what Is It Disposable does. The disposable verdict stays narrow on purpose. Everything else, like privacy relays, public providers, and role accounts, is a separate signal that you map to allow, warn, or block yourself. We never block on your behalf, we fail open if anything goes wrong on our side, and we log the domain only, never the full address. Our own signup form runs this exact detection, so if it ever slipped we would feel it first. Where it is going: the dataset keeps growing every day, its size and growth are published on our domain stats page so you can hold us to that, and the roadmap follows what the people using it actually run into. We are a small, bootstrapped team in Austin, and this is the product we would want to buy.
