A Product with Great Potential, but Still Evolving
My brief experience with Jamy has been a mix of promising features and areas for improvement.
Strengths
Jamy offers an intuitive web interface that makes it very accessible. When tested in a real meeting environment, it delivers on its core promises: generating summaries, topic lists, and to-do items. The online customer support is impressively responsive.
Areas for Development
The output structure appears somewhat rigid. While it is possible to access more details by clicking on individual topics, it would be beneficial to have these details available as plain text directly alongside the topic list, allowing for more comprehensive notes in a single view. Interestingly, during my Italian-language meeting, the topic list appeared in English while the summary was in Italian. The configuration options for language preferences aren't clearly explained.
Pricing Structure Considerations
Perhaps the most significant limitation is that the most valuable features—report customization and AI-assisted chat capabilities—are only available with the Tier5 license, which allows for up to 10 users. This structure doesn't accommodate smaller organizations, solopreneurs, or freelancers like myself. A matrix pricing strategy that independently addresses feature levels and user count would be much more flexible and appropriate for diverse business sizes.
Conclusion
For now, I'll be putting Jamy aside, but I remain optimistic about its future. With some technical refinements and a more flexible commercial approach, I would be eager to revisit this promising tool.
