We've heard your feedback loud and clear — and we've been honest with ourselves about the challenges of running a sustainable product in an era where AI model costs are moving fast and unpredictably.

This Sumo Day, we're introducing add-ons as part of the offering. We know that might raise an eyebrow or two, so we want to be upfront about why: the core deal remains strong and lifetime, but for advanced capabilities that carry real and ongoing infrastructure costs — like expanded credits and API limits — we believe an optional add-on model is simply more honest than baking those costs in and quietly cutting them later.

The AI landscape is evolving at an incredible pace. New models, new capabilities, new costs — it's a moving target for every team building on top of this technology. Our commitment to JoggAI users is to keep pace with that evolution and keep bringing you genuinely better tools. But we also want to do it in a way that's sustainable — for you, and for us. Because a product that burns out isn't one that can keep its promises.

Why are you introducing add-ons? JoggAI has grown a lot since our last campaign — new models, new features, new capabilities. Add-ons are how we're able to keep bringing you cutting-edge tools as they emerge, without compromising the value of the core lifetime deal. Think of them as optional upgrades for users who want to go further.

What is changing? For new Sumo Day purchases, the offering is structured as a core lifetime base plan with optional add-ons for advanced features like expanded credits and API limits.

What is staying the same? If you purchased JoggAI in a previous campaign — nothing changes for you. Your existing limits and features are fully grandfathered. We are not reducing or modifying any benefits for past buyers.

Do I need to do anything to keep my access? Nope. If you're an existing customer, your access continues exactly as before — no action needed on your end.

I’ve been reading all of your comments and feedback. I hear the passion, the excitement, but also the frustration and confusion that many of you feel. I'm writing to you today to address this directly.

First, I want to say that I am sorry for the lack of clear, proactive communication from our side. It’s clear we haven’t done a good enough job explaining the "why" behind some of our recent updates, and that has created a space for doubt and frustration to grow. That is on us, and we are committed to doing better starting now.

Your success with our platform is our success. Our team works tirelessly—pushing updates, fixing bugs, and adding new templates and features at a pace you’ll be hard-pressed to find in any other LTD.

We do this because we are genuinely invested in your growth.

To honor a lifetime deal, we must build a lifetime company. This means navigating the high costs of cutting-edge AI while ensuring the platform remains stable and accessible for everyone.

With that context, I want to walk you through the specifics of your questions.

On "Motion" (Previously "Non-Video Credits")

Some of you have felt that "Motion Credits" are a new limitation. I want to clarify that this system has been in place since day one of the AppSumo deal, where they were called "Non-Video Credits."

The reason for this separate credit system has always been about technology.

Standard video generation is one process, but features that involve animating a still photo or creating complex character movements use a different, more costly technology.

We've renamed them "Motion" to be clearer about their function. In practice, 1 Motion is roughly equal to 2 Non-Video Credits, though the exact ratio may vary depending on the feature, but the underlying system and its purpose have not changed.

Why We Have Weekly Motion Allowance and Concurrent Limit?

This was introduced to ensure platform stability and fairness.

Think of our servers like an electricity grid. If everyone turns on every appliance at the exact same moment, the system gets overloaded. Similarly, our powerful AI models require immense computational resources. A weekly allowance and concurrent limit help smooth out the demand across our user base, preventing processing bottlenecks and ensuring the platform remains fast and reliable for you when you need it.

This limit is a necessary trade-off designed around carefully studied usage patterns to maintain the long-term health and sustainability of the platform. It allows us to continue offering powerful features at this price point. We are also building an in-app tracker for the weekly motion allowance, so you always have full visibility.

The Critical Difference: AvatarX vs. AvatarLite

This is the most important clarification. When you bought your LTD, our avatars were built 100% on our own in-house, proprietary models. 

We controlled the architecture and, crucially, we controlled the costs.

These models are now grouped under AvatarLite, and your ability to create unlimited videos with them remains completely unchanged.

AvatarX is a different beast entirely. 

To achieve the next-level quality, emotional expressiveness, and versatile styles you asked for, AvatarX is built on a hybrid system that relies on advanced third-party AI models. This means we have significant, direct external costs every time an AvatarX video is generated.

To be perfectly transparent: a single 30-second AvatarX video can cost us nearly $2 to produce.

This is not a reality we can support under the original unlimited structure.

This is why AvatarX usage requires Motion Credits for all users—both LTD and new subscribers. It’s a fundamentally new and more expensive category of technology that didn't exist when you purchased your deal.

What About My Original Features? Is My LTD Still Unlimited? 

This is a crucial point, and I want to be crystal clear: the core value of your LTD is fully intact and continues to grow.

• Unlimited Lip-Sync Videos? Yes, absolutely. If your plan includes unlimited video creation, you can continue enjoying that with all AvatarLite models. When you create a new custom avatar with AvatarLite, it may consume one-time motion credits, but after that, you can generate videos with that avatar for unlimited durations without any extra cost. This has not and will not change.
  
  

• Where Are the Classic Models? They are all still here, and they've been upgraded! The models you were familiar with (like Motion 2.0, 3.0, etc.) have all been improved and are now conveniently grouped under the "AvatarLite" family. You have full and unlimited access to all of them, and we will continue to release new and improved AvatarLite models for you to use as part of your lifetime deal.
  
  

A Clarification on "Unlimited Avatars"

There has been confusion around the term "unlimited avatars," and I want to clarify how it was structured from day one on the original AppSumo deal page.

The deal included:

1. Unlimited use of our growing library of public, stock avatars.

2. A specific allotment of custom photo avatars you could create, which was tied to your tier.

This distinction has always been in place due to the computational cost of creating a new custom avatar from a photo. We are simply re-stating the original terms to ensure everyone is on the same page.

Looking to the Future: Veo 3 and Beyond

We are always exploring the latest, most powerful models, like Veo 3. However, like AvatarX, these next-generation third-party models come with very high costs. To provide you with access without threatening our sustainability, we will be using a "Bring-Your-Own-Key" (BYOK) model. 

This allows you to connect your own paid API key for that service directly to JoggAI. It's the only sustainable way for us to give you the option to use the most cutting-edge tools as they are released.

Our Path Forward, Together

If you log into JoggAI today and compare it to the platform you bought months ago, you will see a product that has grown immensely in power, stability, and features.

We also read every piece of product feedback you share. We see your comments about improving our lip-sync accuracy to be the best in the market, the quality of certain avatars, and how we stack up against established competitors.

Please know that we take this to heart.

We are not perfect, and some features will have growing pains as we innovate.

But our commitment to you is one of relentless iteration.

The JoggAI you see today is vastly better than it was six months ago, and the version in six months will be better than today.

This is Anbang. I’m excited to announce the launch of our new Photo Avatar feature! 

As mentioned in our recent email update, we’ve added non-video credits to your plan to accommodate this new feature. I understand that some of you may still have questions, so we’ve put together this update to provide further clarification and address any concerns you might have.

1. What's the difference between video credits and non-video credits?

Video credits are for creating videos (now clearly labeled as 30/100/unlimited videos per month). Non-video credits are for non-video features like image avatar generation and animating images.

2. What exactly can I do with non-video credits?

Non-video credits let you use non-video features, for example “Generate AI avatars from text prompts” and “Animate photo avatars”. Once created, you can use these assets unlimited times in your videos. We'll have more non-video features coming up which you can use too.

3. How long do the non-video credits last?

Your non-video credits refresh monthly, just like the current system. Unused credits don't roll over to the next month.

4. What happens to my existing credits?

Your existing credits will be automatically converted to video credits on our backend. Nothing is being taken away - we're actually adding new non-video credits as a bonus feature.

5. The non-video credits seem low for Tier 1 (15 credits) and Tier 2 (50 credits). Is this enough?

We understand this concern, which is why we've added flexibility to the system. Tier 1 and 2 users can convert their monthly video credits into non-video credits if they prefer.

6. What if I run out of non-video credits?

LTD users get exclusive lifetime access to discounted credit packs. You'll always have the most favorable rates as an early supporter.

7. I'm on Tier 1/2 - can I upgrade to get more non-video credits?

Yes! You can upgrade your tier anytime to access more monthly non-video credits and additional features.

8. Why separate video and non-video credits?

This allows us to keep unlimited video creation sustainable while offering non-video features that have variable processing costs. It's the fairest way to provide more value while maintaining quality.

9. I bought this expecting unlimited everything at Tier 3. Isn't this a bait and switch?

The LTD has always specifically advertised unlimited video creation at Tier 3, which remains unchanged. We're adding new features beyond video creation with bonus credits to make the deal even more valuable. Besides, having a sustainable offer will help us serve you for a much, much, much longer runway.

Brand Kit Now Included in the Creator Plan!

Many of you pointed out that even solo creators need access to a Brand Kit for their logos and colors.

Initially, we had placed it in higher-tier plans (like the Team Plan), inspired by models from competitors such as HeyGen. However, your feedback made us realize we could do better.

So, we’re excited to announce that the Brand Kit is now included in the Creator Plan for ALL users, both LTD and monthly subscribers. This change is coming soon—stay tuned for updates!

(🔥NEW) Multi-Workspace Now Available in Tier 4 & 5 (Team Plan)!

When we first launched on AppSumo, our primary goal was to cater to Creators, which is why the Creator Plan includes key features like:

• AI avatars
• Clone yourself
• Batch video creation (e.g., 100s of videos at once)

We also added API access as a bonus from Tier 1. However, many of you requested more seats and higher limits, so we introduced Tier 4 and Tier 5 (Team Plans) for growing teams and power users.
